It is not strong enough to heat up a jaccuzzi 120 gallon... I also wasn't strong enough to warm up a 50gallon Bath tub in 6hours.

It caught fire 🔥 1st time using. The fire started at tube and traveled up wire. Managed to unplug it but not before melted plastic adhered to fiberglass tub. Hopefully it will be able to be cleaned. Do not buy this product.

This heater and a cheap bubble thermal cover is all you need...and a 240v outlet!I searched for a baptismal heater for our church and I didn't want to drop $500 for an advertised drop in "baptismal heater." We used a 120v bucket heater for about a 2 yrs until it died. That one would go on at 6pm Sat eve and would basically take the chill of the water by Sun 12 noon. (Florida ground water usually around 72°)This 240v heater goes on at 6am Sun and is like bath water by 12 noon! You need 240/220v to make it work that good. It comes with a 120v adapter plug, but will heat a lot slower. Baptistry is 90"x40" and about 40" deep. If you have a smaller baptistry, it will heat faster and hotter. It does make noise because the element gots hot enough to boil.

Definitely wish I had this a loooooooooong time ago. The ease of use, simplicity of it and how it does what is needed to do. I was definitely impressed when my gas was off for a few days…a diva has to have her bath💜

We are renovating our bathroom and my Vintage Clawfoot Tub has to be moved to a Spa Room in the basement. In any event, I can't live without my tub so I ordered this to warm the water outside and it was so hot from being in the tub overnight that I had to put a lot of cold water in the tub to get it down to the correct temperature! This has at least made the inconvenience of losing my tub bearable!

This is my second one I tried- thought the first one was just defective so I ordered a replacement. Unfortunately the water temp in my bathtub never went more than 85F after 30mins ( start at around 68F) I waited for another 30mins but it just stayed around 85F and never got hot enough to soak in. It may work for like a bucket etc but it is too slow to heat up the regular bathtub because the water starts cooling down at the same time while waiting for over and hour. don’t waste your money, electricity and time!!
