We recently completed a renovation that included a new master suite with my wife’s dream bathroom. One of the focal points is a custom walk-in shower. We bought this bench to go in the shower, it looks great, works well & is quite sturdy. The assembly took about 15 minutes with easily followed instructions and all the tools you really need included. The bench seems to be holding up very well so far. I recommend this unit for anyone with the need.

I spent a week deciding which teak bench to get for our master shower. I love the size, the look, the underneath shelf, the ease of use and the fact that it was a bit taller than some of the others. What I’m not sure about is that from the first time I used it, when I saw down there is a sound that made meJump up because I thought it was breaking. I just had back surgery and the last thing I need is to fall flat on my bum! My husband checked it all over, tightened a couple of screws… we don’t see a crack anywhere but when I sat the next time, same thing. It feels pretty sturdy and I am a good 60-70 lbs under the weight limit for the bench but it still makes me nervous. I’m hoping that whatever the noise is will stop soon. That is the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

What stands out to me is the quality of the finish. It's smooth and glossy, with no overspray, or rough spots. It really does look and feel hand crafted. I plan to use it in the bathroom, but not in the shower.Another person pointed out the white feet and how it would be better if the matched the wood. I agree - however, they do work really well for leveling and anti-slip.

This bench was easy to assemble and is a very nice design. It is nicely finished and seems to be plenty robust and rigid. Using it to put on shoes by my front door. Compliments to the manufacturer for making such a nice bench when so many items are cheap and flimsy these days.

We had Bath Fitters come in and replace our shower in a day. To add a bench to the design was over $1000 in the design so we decided to go with a teak bench. I had very specific measurements and this fit the bill. I love that each of the feet have dual height options just in case your bath or shower has a lip to it. Fits snuggly in the shower and can be easily removed for inside the bathroom as well.
