Clear plastic, these shelf pins are sturdy enough to hold a decent amount of weight, IF you use four to support your shelf. They fit a 1/4 in. drilled hole well enough, but not snugly. Shelf pins are, by their nature, a poor solution to shelf support, but these work well enough.

These are nice enough clips, for plastic. I like that they're clear so they won't be real obvious. They fit the holes in my cabinet, so that's a plus. But these are plastic after all, and my original pegs are metal, so I don't expect these to hold up a lot of weight and I wouldn't trust them to hold up a shelf of priceless crystal glasses or anything. But for a basic shelf, holding fairly lightweight items, these should do the trick.

Glad to pick these up for some wobbly shelving we have in a cabinet. These pegs were a little small for the holes. But I think the holes themselves had enlarged over the years, hence the wobble. So I just wrapped a thin strip of masking tape around the peg end, and they fit snugly.Now the shelves rest securely. Again, I imagine there are variations across the size of the pegs of these things, but you can make adjustments without much difficulty.A relatively small price to pay to solve a problem.

These shelf pegs were exactly what I was needing for my kitchen pantry as well as most of my cabinets throughout the house. The peg size was almost perfect as I did have to apply a little force to get them in. Once in though they held on strong. The clear look makes them almost invisible. The only issue I encountered was the top of the peg added some thickness so in some instances I had to really force my shelf to fit in with the added thickness coming from both sides.

These work perfectly in my stock, contractor's special kitchen cabinets. Easy to install, and holds the shelves very securely. Perfect replacement for the clips I broke.
