I had three fingers fused and had to wear splints daily for 8 weeks. You use a lot of wrap when you have to take everything off to keep your hands clean. The better-known brand provided by the doctor is rougher initially and takes some time to smooth out and be comfortable. Using that several times a day made my fingers sore. This product was comfortable from the first moment until I changed it. I initially bought the multi-colored box to have some fun and then switched to the neutral. I love this product!

I recently spent around $5 for one roll of this type of tape at the drug store. It can't possibly cost that much for this tape! But I needed the tape at that moment. I went home and searched Amazon. Sure enough, lots of people offering this tape at ridiculously low prices. Were these prices too good to be true? Maybe.This product almost works perfectly. It's a little thinner than what I bought at the drugstore. But it's ok. It stretches but not quite as much as the drugstore tape. The good news is that it is self-adhesive as you wrap it. The bad news is I just can't get the end of the tape to stay down. A little tiny piece - maybe 1/2 inch won't "stick". It happens every time. Very annoying.I use it to wrap my little finger when I play golf. Maybe the surface area of my finger is too small for the tape to stick. Maybe not. The drugstore tape stuck just fine to my finger.On the other hand, (no pun intended) I got 24 rolls of tape for the cost of about 2 rolls of drugstore tape. And, like I said, as you wrap the tape a few layers, it sticks very well! It's just trying to get the end of it to stick is the problem. I'm willing to use more tape / re-wrap if necessary with this tape and it is still a LOT CHEAPER than what you get at the drug store.If you are picky about these things, you might not want to buy this tape. But, I think for most people it will work "ok".
