This tool significantly reduces the time spent on measuring and manually holding studs. It's incredibly easy to use, very durable, and lightweight. While the price could be improved, the amount of time it saves justifies the cost for my purposes. I was able to complete tasks five times faster with it. I highly recommend it.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and I like working alone, so it's really nice to have a tool like this to help frame out a 24 inch wall, if I need to. This helps hold the pieces in the correct position for nailing, and I like that the frame is NOT adjustable in width - this prevents any sway or adjustment issues. I do have another layout tool that allows adjusting the width within a range.I've beat on ends with hammers to try to squeeze bloated studs into it and it held up well.Good tool!

I've definitely become accustomed to using these lately. Before these had tools I'd just cut a 2x4 spacer and get after it. Now I have several of these things in various sizes.This is the first one I received to be in a foam surround package compared to floating in a cardboard box. This tool has a nice finish with no sharp edges from the cast. They've taken the time to knock edges down before paint. It has some imperfections left over from the cast but you'll add plenty more from use. It's accurate. 24" O.C. as measured from my freshly calibrated tape measures.Overall a great tool that's going to get a lot of use.

I wish I had found this jig before I built my backyard workshop but I’m glad I found it. It makes the job of lining up two inch dimensional lumber at right angles so easy. No more fumbling for a speed square to get the boards at 90 degrees then holding them there while you screw or nail. Just slip the lumber in the slots and easily fasten them together at perfect right angles. If you are building walls with studs 24 inches on center then this is the tool you need.
