These are fine. I think they are rated to hold less than 25 lbs. The roll that I hung in it weighs 48 lbs. (48”x475’) 75# Kraft paper and I have zero misgivings about being sturdy enough. It is mounted to 3/4” plywood with 1 x 5/16 lag bolts.

I was so excited to purchase this, as I am redoing my craft space, however it arrived with paint chipping in multiple places. The shipping box was not damaged in any way, so it leads me to believe that it just was not done well. My basement is finished, but I’m afraid it is going to start rusting due to the missing paint. It does seem sturdy, but for the cost, I would think the quality would be better. Disappointed with this purchase.

This is a sturdy, strong, heavy metal paper holder. Paper roll for this one you have to buy it separately. This requires some skill to assemble, I wouldn't say easy because one is heavy and needs to be attachedwell to the wall or if this thing falls can literally hurt you. It comes with strong screws, it actually comes with 3 different set of screws depending on your wall arrangement. To be honest, is best is someone with experience installs this for you to make it right.Once is done, this can be so fun to use. This can be used in homes, offices, and teachers' classrooms.I love it and I highly recommend it!Paper roll 18 inches brownhttps://www.amazon.com/IDL-Packaging-Kraft-Paper-Brown/dp/B07T81XNDC/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2O95E8BUBDSIS&keywords=paper%2BRoll%2B%7C%2B18%2BInch&qid=1683096349&s=industrial&sprefix=paper%2Broll%2B18%2Binch%2Cindustrial%2C171&sr=1-5&th=1Paper roll 24 inches whitehttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EBB481A/ref=sspa_dk_detail_4?psc=1&pf_rd_p=f734d1a2-0bf9-4a26-ad34-2e1b969a5a75&pf_rd_r=VDEZHWS5RZYE27EBAVQH&pd_rd_wg=xbenc&pd_rd_w=SRoSg&content-id=amzn1.sym.f734d1a2-0bf9-4a26-ad34-2e1b969a5a75&pd_rd_r=1176f52b-0af5-4152-b609-9011254ca2ce&s=office-products&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWw&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFTSFVDVFZOWFNNRjYmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAzNTk2MTYyU1IyUk9KWFdWWVVJJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTEwMTY2NzUySTJWMzZPNDIyT1JQJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfZGV0YWlsJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

This 36” inch painted white metal paper holder can hold most anything on a roll and even multiple items. It comes with a 36” mounting bracket with slots on each side for inserting the metal bar for dispensing paper, ribbons, vinyl, wrapping paper etc. All mounting hardware is included for multiple surfaces. From hollow walls to solid and even sheetrock. Also included is a 36” flat meta bar that hangs directly below in the path of the paper. Paper is inserted behind the bar, and is used to cut material to your desired length. However, the bar isn’t as useful as it could be without having sharp teeth or a sharpened edge at all. It’s just a bar with little to no texture on it to grab paper to prevent the roll from continuing to roll as you try and tear it from one side. Holding the roll stationary with one hand while ripping with the other hand works best for me. This paper holder is functional but could be more user-friendly if it had some sort of cutting blade on the bar below. The placement of the rip bar from the bracket is of your preferred distance.

I have a craft room and use wide craft paper in many ways. I cover tables as a "drop cloth" I use it in paper crafts. I use it as a "design board" when brainstorming new designs. The roll is rather unwieldy to use without something to store it on, though.Enter this rack! It was fairly simple to install (I made sure to have one end mounted into a stud and then proper anchors on the other end since it wasn't possible to place it on 2 studs due to the width, and it is holding the weight well) then placed the lower cutting bar about 2 feet below it. I now have a perfect space for my "Design board" and then I can pull it down, and tear it away easily leaving a fresh spot. I can also easily pull out and tear off any length I need for craft use!

I mounted this inside the closet of my craft room. I have a roll of white paper I use as blowout paper for sublimation but I'm always having to move it around and use scissors or just rip off pieces. I just don't have the spare table space for one of the table rollers. This has been a perfect solution. I'm not using it to write on, so its mounted high in the closet, but its perfect for storing the paper and ripping off the length I need. The dispenser itself is heavy duty. Its very heavy as well, so I don't foresee the metal bending or sagging under the weight of even a full roll of paper. It comes with 3 sets of mounting hardware. For drywall, they include toggle bolts, which I'm not a fan of, so instead I used Molly bolts and the included washers. The mounting holes are quite large, so you will need washers to hold it. It also includes 2 sets of hardware for masonry walls. The cutter part is a separate piece and can be mounted as close to, or as far from, the dispenser as you wish. This was definitely important to me as I only had so much space to work with. I could have mounted it closer, but I like the idea of the first bit of paper being held flat and possibly straightening the curl out of that bit of paper, which is definitely more of a bonus as the rolls gets closer to empty. This would be great too if you're using this as a note board, making it fit the space you need, then you can remove that part and have a nice fresh clean space. I think this mount is a bit expensive (currently $70 for the 18") but at least its heavy duty and well made.
