This is the second temp gauge I've gotten off of Amazon and it does not work. I hope the company reaches out to me and fixes this problem. It's a little annoying getting bad parts off Amazon. Save yourself the trouble and get a good quality one don't keep wasting your time like I do it's complete junk, the price is too good to be true.

Works good, everything was included to install it in my cj5. It seems a little slow to start reading from cold, but from what I understand about this kind of gauge it’s not uncommon or unusual. Once the engine has some heat and it’s reading it’s accurate. I can watch it open right at 180 degrees and fluctuate between 180-170, which tells me both my thermostat is working and this gauge reads correctly.My only small complaint is the faceplate and needle inside are set back into the housing pretty far, you’ll want to make sure wherever it’s mounted you can look fairly straight into it. But it’s not too big an issue for me.Overall happy with it.

This product was defective out of the box. I tested it by putting it in a pan on the stove. As the water temp in the pan rose, this meter did nothing. I'm glad that I didn't spend a couple of hours installing this, only to find that I had to spend another couple of hours removing it just to return it.If you order this, TEST ITS FUNCTIONALITY FIRST!!. If you don't, then the onus is on YOU! You have been warned.
