Installation Tips

Step 1. Find and remove the motor retention screw on the outside of the coach.

Step 2. Inside the coach, remove the seal to access the motor notch. Once the shaft is clear, unplug the motor and lift it up within the h-column, then pull out of the motor notch.

Step 3. Replace the new motor. Reinsert the motor wiring harness, restore the seal, and replace the motor fixing screws.

**Please note the connection between the Encoder wire and the motor. Ensure proper connection for proper motor operation.**

Thankfully, the manufacturer included the pinout, so I didn't have to reverse engineer it. I've got this connected to an arduino with a custom closed-loop motion algorithm running. The Arduino is receiving signals from an RC car remote control. This motor is then connected to the steering of my trolling motors. Now I can sit up on the bow of my boat and remote drive it. I can even drive it from the peer ;) Engineering is cool. Enjoy.

This replacement is super powerful and was a perfect swap with the one I had. It was fairly simple to install and didn't take long either. It seems to be just as good as the one that I removed but I'll keep ya posted if not. I would definitely recommend!
