This worked like a charm. For those that have used it and complain of fan noise you need to make sure you reused the old mounting gaskets. There are 2 and not included with this fan. They are important. The fan will wobble around and hit the shroud if they are not properly replaced. Fan is plastic and just pulls off and pushes back on. It's plastic so be careful. Test the system before u cover everything back up with the panel. Unplug refrigerator before you replace the back panel or you may hit the fan with the panel and damage it. Fan is quiet. Fixed my issue. Took literally 30 minutes to be back up and running.

Ive had this part installed on my Maytag garage fridge for over six months now and still working fine. I searched for this part on other sites such as Maytag and appliance parts.com and it was much cheaper on Amazon. I was hesitant to purchase since it was so much cheaper for fear it wouldn't last for long but i've had no issues.

Purchased this motor for my Maytag M1TXEGMYS01 refrigerator with top freezer. Fridge would not get below 52 degrees and freezer was cold but took a long time to freeze ice. After watching several You Tube videos decided the evaporator fan located in the back wall of the freezer had probably failed. Took the cover off and sure enough, the fan did not work when the compressor was on and thus no cold air was being fed below to the fridge. The OEM motor was $85 so decided to order this motor for $17 just in case I was wrong and wasted the $85. Got the motor in one day and in two hours had it installed. Worked great!!! I put a fridge thermometer in both the freezer and main compartment and the recommended temps are spot on. Ice freezes quickly. Not sure about the motor's longevity but it has been running now a week, appears very well made and runs quietly and smoothly. One tip, as others have mentioned, the plastic fan was difficult to remove from the old motor by simply pulling on it, but I used a needlenose pliers to hold on to the shaft and turned the fan counter clockwise while gently pulling on it and it came right off.

My fridge wasn't cooling well and running hard, so I pulled the freezer apart and found that the evaporator fan had failed. This was an exact replacement that fit very well without any issues and has been running fine for a couple of weeks now. It is a bit louder than the old fan was, which has me a little concerned about how long it will last. Keeping a watchful eye on it for now, and I'll be sure to update this review should I have any issues.Four stars for good fitment and functionality, but shaved one because it's definitely not as quiet as an OEM fan.

I ordered and got one day shipping which was imperative as I needed the parts asap to repair my refrigerator. Sure I could have got it quicker going to the appliance parts store the same day and paying 85.00 dollars for the part. I could have also called the 24x7 repair man( his rate was 150.00 just to come diagnose the problem and then 40 per hour, plus parts, and taxes). I decided it would be smarter to order from Amazon for less than 20 dollars and have it the next morning. Perfect replacement part and it took less than 10 minutes to fix. My problem was the Freezer was Freezing as it should but the fridge temp went down to 44 degrees (f) . The evaporator fan was still running when I was diagnosing the problem but is seemed weak ,this is the fan that moves the cold air from the freezer to the fridge. Noticing how weak the fan seemed I googled the part number and found it here on Amazon. Fridge works like new again. We threw the food that was in the fridge away as temp was over 40 degrees (f) overnight.
