Traveling to Spain and will need an adapter. This one is compact and will will work in Spain and many other countries. The on board USB do not support fast charging. Good for overnight charge of devices. If need a quick charge during the day, will plug my fast charging brick into the adapter. If if supported fast charging and had a usb-c, it would have had a fifth star.

I’m glad this showed up in time for our overseas trip to the EU and the UK. They use different outlets and it is so much more convenient to carry one unit instead of multiple ones. It’s not heavy and the switches to change to the different outlets are easy to use - it doesn’t feel like they’re going to break. I charge multiple items at once and neither the unit, nor my devices overheat. Good value.

I always use his overseas. I hate the EU plug though as it never feels stable enough. That said, the 4 USB ports are great so I can charge multiple things at the same time.

I brought this outlet adapter to London on vacation. I like that it has separate sliders for all four locations, including the US. Many adapters like this do not include the regular US plug. The only down side for the UK is pictured above; many outlets in the UK are as pictured, when you plug in the adapter into the wall, the USB ports are all on the bottom, with no room to plug in a cord.

These types of adapters are what most people need for travelling. In the past you required different ones for different plug standards or multiple loose plug tips. These new integrated ones are a big improvement. Most people will only need the US type plug on the output, but this new style will work no matter what country your devices come from.If you are new to travel what you need to realize is that most electronics and anything that is battery operated devices like electric shavers and toothbrushes use adapters that will work with 100-250V. All countries will use voltages within this range. This means that you generally do not need convert the voltage. If you plug this into a 220v socket (most other countries) the plug will give you a 220v on a 120v plug. The adapter or device will take care of the rest.The voltage specific device that people tend to want to bring is a hair dryer. If you use a 110v unit on a 220v circuit, it will get smoked. You need to get a dual voltage one and make sure it is set correctly. There are 'converter' devices that convert the 220v to 110v on the output, but there will generally have a current limit too low for this type of device and may be too limited if you use a plug multiplier and multiple devices. Because this one does not have the converter, it can supply the required power. The converters may have some use, but for most people the converter is of little use and an unnecessary expense.The other thing that you will probably find is that a single AC outlet is probably very limiting I tend to use a 3-outlet adapter if I am travelling alone, or a small travel plug strip with more USB charge ports if I am traveling with my wife. This lets her have plugs on her side of the bed, and in many cases hotel rooms only have one plug near the bed. This solves both problems.The various prong types are easily extended and securely lock in place. The one type that I have run into that is not included is the higher current EU standard which has larger prongs and a ground, but this is not conducive to this type of design. I have never run into a situation where this was the only type of plug, and the supplied EU plug is always available in the room.The output socket fit is secure but not tough to insert. The live circuits are covered by safety flaps when not in use. There are 4 USB A charging ports. The maximum current is 2.4 amps with a total on the 4 of 3.4 amps, so not the fastest charging but reasonable. There are no USB C ports.This and a socket multiplier should meet almost everyone's travel needs. It is very compact and will work in any place I have ever been. There are a lot of these. You will need to look at the USB options on similar devices and see if they meet your needs. This one works well for me.

This adapter has nice sliding plug prongs that you select per country you're in. I couldn't do rigorous testing on voltages other than USA 120V/60 Hz, but we'll be taking it to Italy in a few weeks.USB outputs ... I could only test 2 outputs at a time in my lab, but it does appear to closely follow the rule printed on the case: you get 3.4 A total output current, with no more than 2.4 A on any given output. I got 2 A out of port 1, and up to 1.9 A out of any of the other ports.Oddly enough, the voltage rises on one port, if you increase the current on another port. But regulation is easily tight enough to support charging with no worries, regardless of what any given port is seeing. Except that, you can't exceed the overall total current limit. If you do, all the ports will shut down. I'm not 100% sure this will work with any given combination of 4 things being charged, therefore. I was definitely able to charge an iPhone 11 and an Apple Watch at the same time. Unless you test it first, I'd be cautious of trying to load this thing up with 4 different devices.

Then plug in your cord and everything works. There are multiple spots for USB charging too.I have used other adapters when traveling and they would not allow my US blowdryer or curling iron to work. This one gave me zero problems. I just recommend you start your blowdryer on irons on the lowest settings just incase you have issues. Which I highly doubt you will.The only thing I don't like is that the cube is a little heavy so once you get a cord attached, it might fall out of the wall. So keep that in mind as you are using it. I did not have any issues as I used it, but it can happen.
