The lights are bright and work super great. The only downside is the switch to turn the lights on and off is attached to the heat sync that gets hot when the lights are on. The switch is a push click type switch that is rather stiff so when you go to push it you can burn your fingers on the heat sync. A toggle switch in the cord, or a flip switch mounted to the top of the light would completely prevent this. There is a caution hot warning label literally 1 inch from the switch. The tripod stand is pretty ok but the locking mechanism that holds the 3 legs is kind of Jenny and not well thought out. Still a good buy and worth keeping.

Nothing not to like about these lights, priced right, super bright, strong sturdy yet light weight metal tube frame, telescoping, tripod also adjustable. If I had one complaint it would be the buttons for each individual light are on the bottom of the lights so a little awkward to use but not a big deal really. I'd recommend these lights to anyone.

Assembly instructions could have been a little better but i still give them a B+, pay attention that there are 4 screws of one size and 1 that's longer. Other than that it's great, super bright, and very adjustable. I'm a little surprised at how much light it throws out, and it's currently lighting up a good half of my living room walls - I can't ask much more out of a flood light.I don't know what some of the other reviews are talking about. Sure, extend it as tall as it goes and if you knock into it it's gonna fall over, it's top heavy by nature. A sandbag or maybe a cinder block and a bungee will keep it steady.Someone mentioned there's no way to turn all of the lights off without unplugging it but each light has its own power button on the bottom.Bottom line, if i ever feel a need for a second flood light I'll get another one of these

Overall this is an excellent light and it's been quite useful for me. As others have mentioned, though, the legs are somewhat fragile, and one of mine snapped after a few months. I found an easy and cheap fix that also works to prevent the legs from breaking.I got a 3' 7/8" wooden dowel and cut it into three one-foot segments. I used one segment to reinforce the broken leg, with a small amount of tape around the wood it to keep it in place via friction. I then disassembled the other two legs and added a dowel to each. This reinforcement should prevent the metal from snapping and only costs a couple of bucks and a few minutes of time. I recommend doing it proactively.Photos: Leg with the screw threads broken off of the bottom segment, a healthy lower section with the wooden dowel added.

. I got the light for a night time event and needed to use it during the night of day it was delivered. I was at event site and was able to quickly assemble the tripod etc.. however then I discovered a small MISSING critical piece that joins the two horizontal poles that you screw the 3 lamps to. I contacted Amazon and they could not address the need for this one part. Ugh. I emailed the manufacturer but heard nothing. It’s My problem I guess because I should have gotten it further in advance ( unfortunately I didnt know it would be needed for the event.. until) I have it Jerry rigged with super duct tape but it’s a shame I couldn’t just be mailed the small missing part. if I have the energy I can pursue with Amazon to see about return etc. the lights are actually fairly bright and nice feature that each can be turned on or off.
