It seems like the listing item has changed since my order. I ordered a pocket chain saw with paracord handles. This design is entirely manual. You wrap it around a limb and alternately pull the chain back and forth with your hands to make a cut. It seems this product has been replaced by an electric saw but I still recommend the saw I got if the listing changes back.The cutting speed is actually pretty quick. The cutting teeth are actually only every 3 links in order to not tire out the human operator too fast. Still, the teeth are sharp and move a lot of material. It only took a minute to cut through a 1" limb and break the rest of the fibers.The biggest issue I found is keeping the limb you are cutting steady. As I pulled back and forth it really moved the limb as well and after I got part way through I had an issue with the limb flexing forward and pinching the saw. However I was cutting from under the limb already on the ground. If I was cutting overhead this might not be as much of an issue but stabilizing the limb would be more annoying.However I only ever intend to use this sparingly in emergencies. I'm just throwing the pouch in my camping gear and it will be there if I ever need it. For that purpose this is ideal.
