Don't think you are going to be cutting trees or firewood with these. These work well on cutting tree limbs maybe up to 3"-4" in diameter. Sure it can go bigger but you will work yourself to death. You will need to keep the blades sharp with a file for longer term use. In a survival situation, it is a good tool to have. It doesn't take up a lot of room and comes in a compact pouch. This could be a nice addition to your bugout bag.

It's a very compact chain saw that you can use to work back and forth to take a tree down I suppose. The description says 'sharp teeth blades', though when I looked at it they didn't seem very sharp. didn't feel very sharp either. I haven't used it yet, as I got it for some upcoming camping when it gets warmer. I'll try it out then. It comes with a nice little pouch that it fits snugly into. Very compact and won't take much room in your bag. It's a good tool to have when out in the wilderness... of course a gas powered chain saw would be better, but those are heavy and take a lot of room... so this is a good way to make do as long as you don't have to take down a forest.
