The only real problem I had with these is when a cable began to fray. At that point it was almost impossible to insert it into the hole without cutting off the frayed portion. They seemed to hold pretty well and the screws are far easier to screw in than the 'muffler clamp' style with the tiny nuts.

Just test for my wire. Steady and easy to tight it up. Just way too much for me. I just need 10 of them. Its cheap for more.

These clips seem to hold wire rope quite well, but I had a difficult time getting 1/8" to conform and fully fit in the recesses, taking three or for times as long as other clamp styles. I suspect they might work much better for slightly smaller wire rope.
