I have used the forstner drill bit several times now and found it excellent. I needed a specific size of drill not available in my local tool stores. It cuts easily and leaves a clean hole. I'm very happy with it.

Didn't use it until after return window had passed or else it would be going back. Dont buy this. It's so dull it wouldn't drill soft butter. Garbage!

Premetto che di solito utilizzo prodotti di alta qualità e non per fare nomi o per vantarmi ma per le forstner utilizzo Famag che sono fantastiche… questa punta da 38 l’ho presa principalmente perché mi serviva per fare un unico foro e non mi andava di spendere un capitale… sono rimasto incredibilmente sorpreso perché taglia in modo molto pulito e senza sforzo e non scalda neanche ( su Red oak) al confronto di altri marchi più blasonati che costano quasi il doppio e in cui ho riscontrato una peggiore qualità, inutile paragonarla a Famag ma in confronto a tutte le altre marche famose che ho provato è la migliore in assoluto. Sulla durata dei taglienti non mi posso esprimere ma se la usate con “saggezza” visto che non scalda, potrei dire che non è affatto male neanche in quello

Used this bit to drill hole in an oak barrel for tap, worked out great. Used hand held drill, hole was smooth and concentric with good chip removal. Tapered tap fit snug with no leaks. Great value as well.

I needed some extra holes in my B&D Workmate as the existing holes wouldn’t accommodate the width of rough sawn 2x12. This bit is the exact size for the grips and bore a clean hole, wouldn’t know they weren’t factory cut.

I have used several different bits for the special wood drilling projects in my workshop and found many did not last beyond a few drilling projects. This product being a constant worker has not only become a staple, but I have purchased two more in different sizes. I consider this one of the "special need" bits everyone should have to complete their workshop.

First it did what I wanted to do but it can’t go into my bit cabinet until it gets some attention. The cutters don’t come to a pointed edge but rather a pointed triangle. In use cut well on the rip direction but tore on the cross cut re grain direction. Also after the fact I noticed both cutting edges were pretty mangled. Can’t tell you if it was like this out of the box or after the 16 1/2” uses on a walnut board. I can and well address both issues but the four stars are for the fact I shouldn’t have to at this point in time. I started to rate three stars but I bought this at a low price with next day delivery, so… YGWYPF
