Note

When drilling, please ensure that the drill bit is installed in place without loosening.

Cutting speed should not be too high, to prevent burning, rate should not be too large, to prevent the drill wear.

Pay attention to safety during drilling, ensure protection.

4

As the manual electric drill is rotating too fast, please pay attention to speed regulation. The larger the drill diameter is, the slower the rotating speed is required.

If the drilled material is too hard, first use a 3-6mm drill bit to make small holes, and then use a large drill bit to ream the holes.

5

The rotation speed of the electric drill for drilling hard objects should be between 80-120, and the effect is best.

Because stainless steel contains cracked alloy components, its hardness and mechanical properties are higher. When drilling with a hand drill, you need to apply enough pressure and enough motor power. It is easier to use a bench drill.

6

When drilling, conditionally add coolant or cutting fluid to cool down to reduce the damage of high temperature to the drill bit and extend the service life of the drill bit.

I have only cut aluminum with this on my lathe, so for that end I can say it works great.

Keep it sharp and should last a long time. Is not soft, it must hard to drill steel!

I needed to drill 6 holes into a 4 inch wide by 40 inch long 1/4 inch piece of flat steel to use with concrete anchors to stabilize a vertically cracked 4 foot high concrete wall. With oil used to assist with the drilling this bit performed very well and the drilling was done in the matter of only a few minutes. The bit is still in good condition and there is no need to even thinking about sharpening it yet.

The flutes have giant burrs left from the grind along with random chips missing from it. The cutting edges has chips also. The chisle point is not even straight along with the lip clearance angle. Even the bottom of the shank is cut at angle instead of flat. One of the worst drill bit I ever seen.
