It works and was less $$ than the two 'OEM' Defective Edge Guide I tried first. Worked right out of the box. No problem. I tried two 'OEM' Edge Guides that were more $$ and both had manufacturing defects. I'm very happy with the 204358001 Edge Guide.

Although the instructions are poorly written, anyone familiar with routers will find the assembly to be pretty much straightforward. I know some buyers had issues with inserting the guide rods through the base, but a few strokes with a round, metal file corrected this problem. If you're disappointed that Ryobi doesn't make a guide for this router, then this accessory is just what you need.

When it comes to off-market brands of tools or attachments, DIYers know one gets what one pays for and these are no exception. For the price, this guide is a good value especially if one sees it for what it is. It is very adequate for its purpose.

I had a project that required cutting a profile on 160 linear feet of paneling. This edge guide was great. It assembled smoothly and was nice and sturdy. It was easy to adjust for the various distances I needed. It's so much easier and faster than setting up straight edge guides or jigs, as I had done in the past. I'm looking forward to many more successful projects with it.

Fits the Ryobi P601 palm edge router. For the price, nothing to complain about. The rails are a little tight but again for the price who cares.

I have the model router that they state it fits, however, the holes are drilled incorrectly. As stated by another recipient, you have to drill out the holes for it to work. Either that or quality control is just completely garbage on this product. Either way, had to redrill holes to get the job done. Not impressed. Spend the extra money and get a better product, not this one.
