Not sure why but this type of evaporator fan occasionally makes loud whirring noises and then quits. You never know when it will occur. I have replaced twice with the same results..

Great fit. Plug and play with our GE DFE28. 4* only because it’s a bit “whinier” than the OEM. Higher pitched fan sound.But works perfect.

Our French door GE fridge constantly freezes up and the fan stops working. We’ve been told it’s a regular issue so bought this. It has been working great. Fit perfectly. It’s a little louder than the manufacturer fan, but it has done a great job.

This replacement part has fixed the loud noises my refrigerator was making!! It's been over 6 months since we replaced it with this one and it is working better than ever! The build quality seems better than the last time we replaced it with a different model. It was easy to install and it fit well. The refrigerator is working better than ever. The refrigerator is cooling better than it ever did. It is definitely worth the value for the money and I feel certain the lifespan on this one will be better.

My GE French door fridge would always freeze over and not cool. (Freezer works fine) I was close to buying a brand new one. Came across a YouTube video and bought this fan and replaced the old one. Refrigerator working perfect now!

My fridge was not working properly. I would say it did not for awhile as it was noisy. However, Hurricane Milton made it obvious. Armed with YouTube, did the replacement and did a form clean of the fridge and the noise disappeared and cooling back to normal. The old fan was obviously shot... blade did not turn effortlessly .... Need a 1/4 inch drive as only tools.

After about 3 months of use it started to make noise which became louder and of longer duration. We ended up to remove it as it was impossible to listen to it. I hope the manufacturer improves the product !

The part arrived as described.Did solve the issue with the fridge.The seller was very caring and followed up with me several times after I made the order.Very happy with the purchase, will recommend highly.The issue with the fridge:It was icing on the bottom, and the whole fridge section was warm. Wasn't producing ice .When I opened it up realized that the old fan of the evaporator was jammed and wasn't spinning at all.The new part arrive identical to the one that was broken. Replaced it in 5 minutes and all worked normal after that.
