I bought two hoses from this brand and shortly after a month and very minimal use they both leak and do not pull a vacuum. Waste of money

leaking from one end the outside where the crimp ends and meets with the tube fitting.

This is a 3/8” hose diameter that has ¼” flare fittings on the ends. It is 6 ft long and seems well made. One connector has a valve depressor and the other is open. For the price, it would have been nice if it had low loss fittings but that is not the case. The larger diameter will help with speeding up the vacuum process but a shorter hose would have been more effective.

I selected this hose to allow higher volume and faster vacuuming of AC systems before charging. While the fittings are still 1/4", the larger diameter hose allows the pump to pull a stronger, quicker vacuum and the larger diameter hose is much less likely to collapse and seal itself under that last few inches of vacuum. Obviously, this is not good for a fill hose as quite a bit of refrigerant can remain in the larger diameter hose.So far it's been used for a half dozen repairs and appears to have held up fine.

The construction of this hose is quite sturdy and high quality. It was overkill for my needs of vacuuming out a mini split. It performed as advertised pulling low enough microns in a couple of minutes.
