Even on the slowest setting to change colors it changes way to fast. Only remains on one color for about 10 seconds at the longest.

Very easy to install if you know how to remove your pool light. Great color options , we keep it on at night now as it lights up the entire pool cage good deterrent for trespassers. Changed the color from red to green during Christmas! We use the wall switch to easily change light functions we really havent used the remote so cant reply on that. I would buy again.

Installed this today with a new gasket as well ( My Older LED Light was only half as bright as this one and didn't have a remote control ) It is working great with color changing and even as a solid white if you choose. The brightness can be toned down with the remote B- or brighter B+ The Remote will work to turn it off or adjust when standing next to the light ( Instructions do state the light under water range is about 3.5 feet ) If the power was on and you use the remote to adjust or turn off the light you need to be close to the light, However with the remote antenna extended and if the light was shut off with the remote you can be 25ft away to turn it on to its last setting.NOTE: The Light is not broken or defective The explanation for the shorter distance when the light is lit is simply, the remote works on a radio wave, Led Fixtures give off radio wave interference when there is a cluster of them. If you have LED Grow Lights in a garage let's say, and you have them turned on , your garage door remote won't work until you are just outside of the garage door. Put LED replacement lights in your cars interior if you car came with incandescent light bulbs and your door locks won't work with the outside sensor till the LED lights go off inside the car .This light is a great value and should last a long time my other LED Light was over 10 yrs old.I purchased 12 Volt model Highly Recommend this item. The remote requires an A23 battery, the battery for the remote is not included . About $3.50 for a 2 pack

The brightness of the light is very good. The remote doesn't do a thing, so far. It took me a while to find out, as it was too cold for me to install the light after I purchased it, then to track down the odd sized battery that's not included.The remote's indicator light shows that it's sending a signal, but it has no effect on the light. The poorly translated directions give some sort of unintelligible procedure to try. I made every attempt to get it to work, and nothing. At the end of these instructions, it states that if none of the procedures are effective, use the waterproof remote bag (included) and put the remote under water, against the light. 🙄I haven't done this, yet, but this is hardly "remote". If this fails to work, I now have a light with one static color, and not the one I prefer.This is not exactly the type of item that can easily be returned. Also, I'm fairly certain that too much time has passed for me to do so. For now, I'm stuck with this Ch*nese crap! My own fault for going cheap.If I get the remote to work under water, I'll update this review.

This was the first review I had ever written for a product from Amazon and I am now amending it 2 months later. A major concern in the purchase was brightness so I looked specifically for the highest LED wattage I could find since I would have only one light for the whole pool. This 50 watt LED does the job beautifully and I have attached a photo with one of the different blue shades. Assembly was easy, but it is essential to buy this with the new 8 3/8" pool light Lens gasket and the AR-PRO Swimming Pool O-Ring Lubricant for the right water-proof seal. After the initial install our pool looked great and I was initially delighted with the product. Unfortunately after turning on the light perhaps 15 times for a few hours over a 6 week period, we started to have problems. The remote stopped working and the light itself went haywire fast blinking with dim light. Essentially it stopped working altogether. Based on reviews, I am not the first to have these problems. So, product quality is a major concern as it just does not last very long. I looked for warrenty information and could find none. Nor was I able to find a way to communicated with the Chinese seller who used the name Tandak Also, interested parties should order an A23 battery, which is not a common battery type, for the remote because it does not come with a battery. Buyer beware!

Light works very well. Remote battery was not included. Make sure to get battery for remote or you will have seizure from light show constantly running. Good color selection. We have small pool and lights whole area.

Just installed this today and it is awesome. Good colors and brightness. Lots of choices of patterns and the remote works reliably from 25 feet away. Using my home energy meter, the power consumption is minimal compared to my 500w incandescent light it replaced. Wasn't hard to install. Given the wide range of prices here on Amazon this is the one to purchase.
