These are meant for the 2024 Highland Model 3, but I don't think there were any changes to the roof glass or interior pillar trim on previous years. So I gave these a try, and it turns out they do seem to fit the previous years just fine. If there are differences between the Highland roof, these still manage to fit previous models rather nicely.Getting these to fit perfectly are a little bit of trial and error with the clips, but it's easy enough to completely add or remove the shade panels within 8-10 minutes. The anchor clips can be a little difficult to wiggle between the trim and glass. A plastic trim wedge (or a plastic butter knife) would make it much easier. Be careful not to create too much of a gap, as you could pop trim out of their clips. As for the fit and finish, these are nice and tight against the trim. The material is a close match to the OEM fabric, but it's not perfect. There are also enough plastic clips in this kit, but I don't think they're all necessary. The front panel is about 0.5" too wide, but that could be a difference between 2023 and 2024 models. The rest of the front panel and rear panel fit great. I'd rate the fit and finish to be a 4.5 out of 5.There are a couple things I don't particular like about these, but I'm not sure the manufacturer could improve:• Front glass cover; The frames stretch the material flat, so it doesn't follow the roofline curvature. This is particularly noticeable if you're a tall individual. You lose about an inch of headroom in the center of the front glass due to the curvature.• The rear glass cover; Same story, but it's a little more pronounced in the rear because of the limited head room and lack of clips across the rear window. I attached a photo that shows your rear view mirror view.• There are some divots in the material which was stretched while being packaged. Hopefully the sun heats these divots out over time. The rest of the material is stretched very tight once opened. The biggest difference I noticed is rear visibility. The slight droop/bend of the shade's frame and material (since there's no clips across the back) is a bit distracting at first, but I've already gotten used to it. From the exterior, you cannot see these at all, so that tells me your rear visibility isn't actually reduced.Overall, these are a game changer if you haven't tinted your roof glass. I've instantly noticed cooler temperatures inside, and having the sun not shining directly on top of your head is a big plus. With how hot summers have been.. The more shade, the better.

This is the second sunshade I've installed, the first being from a well known Tesla brand. This product, while mostly similar, definitely falls short on comparative quality, but is still entirely functional and suitable for most buyers.Quality is passable, but not great:1. The reflective material on the outward facing side seems 'less reflective' and the fabric on the inside seems of flimsier quality.2. There were pressed in wrinkles on the inside fabric, but hopefully exposure to the sun will even those out. Even the seams are not as tight as they could be - putting the clips on the frame created a puckered area around the clip because of extra slack in the fabric.3. The exposed labels for front and back (already a pet peeve to have them visible) are very cheap looking - for that level of quality, they should have just made it easy to tear/cut off.4. Rigid structure, but requires the use of center clips to keep the middle seam together.Overall, the quality is good enough - the color is a very good match to the interior, the overall fitment is precise (e.g. no weird gaps), and it does a good job keeping direct sunlight out of the cabin. I would recommend this to most people (since most are not as neurotic as I am with little details like labels).Small recommendation on installation - Tesla has somehow managed to make an extremely tight fit of the roofliner to the glass, so it's hard to get the clips shoved in there. The clips also have ridges to keep them from falling out, but these ridges are made superfluous by (a) the aforementioned tight fit, and (b) the good 'friction fit' of the shade itself. What I found worked was getting the clip as close to the liner/glass seam as possible, then sliding it in one direction along the seam until it dropped in (not sure why that was more effective, but it was!). Once it's in, then you can slide it back to any position that you want.

This works well overall. The inside color is nearly matched to the headliner which is a fine alternative to a black shade that makes the cabin a bit darker than I would personally like. The fasteners are a bit fiddly to get them over the edges it is easier to put one at the leading edge to stop the center from falling then installing the left and the right while sitting in the back seat. The extra tabs can then be installed to secure the shade. The joiner pieces do help create a cleaner alignment of the front and the back shades but they’re not absolutely necessary. The best bit of engineering is that the shades fold into the silhouettes of two cats!
