Why is the sunshade updated from one piece to two pieces?
1. There is no support in the middle of a piece , and it is easy to collapse. There is a steel wire support in the middle of the two pieces, which will not collapse.
2. If the magnetic attraction stone is installed in the middle of a piece, it is easy to fall off, and it will affect the overall appearance of the car.
3. Due to the large overall volume of the one piece , the stress on the steel wire that has been unfolded many times is uneven and easily deformed. When we updated the two-piece package, we strengthened the toughness of the steel wire, reduced the bearing area of the steel wire, and was not easy to deform.
4. One piece is not easy to install by one person due to its large size. The two pieces are divided into two smaller volumes, which are easy to install.

1. Identify the logo
There is a logo on each sunshade, marked "Front" is installed in the front half of the sunroof, marked "Rear" is installed in the rear half of the sunroof.
2. Installation of the clips
Open the sunshade and fasten the sunshade with the clips.
3. Separate installation
Install the two sunshades separately according to your own habits.
4. Complete the installation
Match the clips to ten different positions to fix the sunshade and complete the installation.

This is product is terrible. It doesn’t fit my Tesla model y 2020. Dimensions are completely off and the side hook things don’t fit under the glass. Im a few days outside of the return period so I tried to make it work but there is no way to get the sunshades to stay in place since they are too long or for the hooks to fit under the glass. Extremely disappointed in this purchase.

I love the big glass roof on my Tesla but it does not block Infra red light( the light that makes your car hot), it only blocks UV. So I could either drain my battery with overheat protection, or get in to a boiling car. This has been amazing in the summer time it keeps the car cooler while driving and parked which means I get more range.Installation was easy and only took 3-4 minutes. I didn’t even need to look at the instructions. They fold up easy and fit into the bag nicely.Because nothing is perfect, my one negative is that the shade take off about one in of headroom right in the very center the. Gradually decreases the lost amount the closer you get to the edges. This doesn’t impact your headroom where people actually sit, just make the roof less bubbly,This is a way better value than paying hundreds of dollars to tint the roof.

Most importantly, the shades fit well and functionality is good. However, zipper on carry pouch broke on the first use.

Good fit and looks nice but barely blocks the sunlight as the holes are big. It's good if you like to be able to still see the sky but doesnt block sunlight enough and AC has to stay full power to try and cool the car

I recently purchased a sunroof shade and I must say, I am quite happy with it. The installation process was a breeze, and it has made a noticeable difference in the temperature inside my car when the sun is out. However, I do have one small complaint. Removing the shade when the sun isn't out can be a bit of a hassle. It would be great if the manufacturer could consider attaching the clips to the shade itself, so they won't get lost. Overall, I am pleased with the sunroof shade and would definitely recommend it for its effectiveness in keeping the car cool.

Just installed my roof shade, it took maybe 10 minutes at most. Clips are intuitive and are secure. There are 8 single clips plus two dual clips, more than enough. Could easily have done this with only 6 single clips.The middle where the two halves meet takes a couple of minutes to align so there is no gap, but again very intuitive and a perfect fit.Almost looks like a factory interior roof it is so smooth.The only 2 remaining things to check are whether it actually reduces the interior temperature, and whether it stays in place with the windows open while driving.Very responsive and honest seller. I had a problem with the first one they sent (there was a tiny hole in it) but they sent a replacement immediately without issue.

This is the second roof shade I purchased, the first was a one piece unit which looked great and totally blocked out light. Unfortunately, it sagged and I couldn’t drive with the windows down without it coming dislodged. I purchased this roof shade and installation was easy, it is secure, doesn’t sag at all. The seam between the front and back looks fine, not quite as finished looking as the one piece, but perfectly acceptable to me. It is not a total blackout shade like the other version, but it filters out probably 80% of the sun/light. My guess is it probably allows the car to heat up a little more then the total blackout version although I don’t have data to support this. Overall, very happy with the ease of installation, the overall appearance and the function of filtering out much or the light.

I am very pleased with the exact fit of this Model Y sunshade. It covers every bit of the glass roof with no light-leaks, despite being two pieces that simply butt together in the middle. The two-piece design is necessary because of the extra large size of the glass ceiling. It also makes the shades much easier to install and to store. Despite the large size of each of the two shade pieces, there is no sag at all. The installation is a bit fussy the first couple of times you do it, but gets much easier with each install. First time took me about 10 minutes to install, but now just a couple minutes. Keep in mind that this is a shade cloth and does not keep as much heat out of the car as a solid cover would, but definitely does reduce the heat coming in. Overall, I am very pleased with this product!p.s. I somehow lost one of the clips that holds the shade to the sides of the ceiling but called the vendor and they promptly shipped out a whole new set of clips. Great customer support!

PROS: Good quality mesh. Contour/fit is nice and snug. Install was easy.CONS: The bag it came in is very low quality: the zipper fell right off the first time I opened it (the stopper on the zipper is missing). I installed the rear piece first, and there is about 2 inches of gap between the middle of the glass and the horizontal edge of the screen spanning across the glass. The mesh itself isn't sagging (just goes straight across) but you do lose a few inches of vertical space nonetheless.Will probably return and purchase the OEM Tesla one, reviews seem mostly good on it.
