Welp, my 2022 Chevy Colorado ended up getting the dreaded SD card removed error and I lost navigation functionality. Sometimes it can be the entire SD card assembly, but more often than not, it's an issue with the factory SD card becoming corrupted or something. I figured instead of even bothering with a trip to the dealership (never know what kind of experience that will turn into), I'd see if I could find a cheap knock-off SD card first. I found this one and for the price figured why not. I wasn't holding my breath though because, well, it's a cheap knock-off. But to my surprise, it worked! I followed the directions and I'm back in action. I will note however that it doesn't seem anymore updated than the 2022 factory card. So look at this as more of a replacement than an update and you'll probably be pleased.

I accidentally popped my card out of the slot when the vehicle was running and ruined it, and it needed updating anyway. New ones from GM are $99-$199 Outrageous! I found this and ordered it, it came in a small package. I followed the instructions to install (Make sure the Vehicle is Off!) and it worked like a charm! My maps are back in action.

After some confusion with GM part numbers (they don't appear to follow a consistent pattern) and verifying that this item was the most current one, I installed it on my 2019 Silverado 1500 with no issues. Great savings compared to purchasing from dealer or GM Direct.

Simply installed, took a few minutes to register then I was up and running in my 2023 Buick Envision.

This SD Card worked perfectly in my 2020 Silverado 1500. So simple! I just plugged it in, started the truck and when I went to the navigation page it gave me the warning that once initialized to my vehicle it’s the only vehicle it will work in. Viola! My maps are back and no more sd card error.I was a little skeptical at first because this card didn’t have the same numbers on the label as my original card, but the description said it was compatible with the the year/make/model of my vehicle. This particular card had the best reviews over other cards, even those with the same numbers as my original so I figured I would give it a try. So far so good. I will update if anything changes.

Accidentally popped my navigation chip out while cleaning my console. They will not work after removing them. This is plug and play and works perfectly.
