I wish I would have tried the product before the return window.I used it to try to suck up collant d and oil that had pooled up on top of my engine. After sucking up a good amount of fluid, all of the fluid began to just pour out of the straw. There is no 1 way valve on the straw, so whatever you extract, will just drain out of the same hole, making this pointless.I do not recommended buying this.

I used this fluid extractor to remove brake fluid from the brake fluid reservoir. I also had a turkey baster as well, which I tried using first, but didn't work. So I was glad I had purchased this extractor when the turkey baster method failed miserably. Worth every penny.

Completely does what I wanted it for. Removing old power steering fluid without pulling any hoses off my vehicle.

Great quality fluid extractor. I got this in specific to bleed my brakes. It is designed well and comes with two extension tubes that connect to each other with an adapter. Which also comes in this kit. The extension tubes connect to the extractor with a nice quick connect/disconnect fitting. It has a tight fit and good suction. it comes with an extra set of sealing rings too. Which is nice. It works well and I think this is a great value. I will be getting more to use for other fluids. Definitely recommend!

Very well made, very heavy duty ... Should last a lifetime... It even has raised measurements on the side that I did not see in the listing ... Fantastic at double this price even ..

This is really a giant syringe suitable for extracting coolant from reservoir or other liquids such as power steering fluid, gear oil, brake fluid, and engine oil from cars. The dual rubber rings help to provide maximum leak-proof extraction. It comes with two different sizes of flexible hose that makes it easy to access some hard-to-reach spots. The auto locking connector makes it easy to connect the tubes. I have used it twice on two different types of liquids (coolant and power steering oil), so far and I am very happy with it. Just make sure it is completely cleaned and air dried before using it every time with different liquids. Great price for the quality. The only issue is the marked scales on the outside of the pump body, which is a bit hard to read and I wish they would use black print for more readability.

While changing any of the fluids in my car, there is often the time where I need to remove a small amount of fluid, either to adjust a fill level, or to get that last bit out. I have used a turkey baster for brake fluid, and a pump from a sprayer bottle for other fluids, but found those methods cumbersome. When I saw the SOWKIPE Fluid Extractor, I thought it would make those jobs much easier. The SOWKIPE Fluid Extractor arrived in a box along with two extension hoses and a set of replacement O-rings. The larger extension hose fits into the extractor and is kept in place with a quick-disconnect fitting. The smaller extension hose can be added using a silicone friction-fit coupler. Both hoses are semi-rigid and have a combined length of 17 inches. The extractor is made from clear plastic and has level markings so you can see how much fluid you have extracted.I tested the extractor with water and found that the hose would leak a bit at the quick-disconnect fitting. I twisted and pressed the hose tighter into the fitting and that seemed to stop the leak. I’ll have to keep that in mind so I don’t drip any fluids, like coolant, that could harm paint. I also noted that the hoses could pull apart at the silicone friction-fit coupler if the second hose became stuck somewhere. If I had to extract fluid in a tight spot, like through a dipstick tube, I will use a single length of vinyl tubing with an inside diameter that will fit tightly over the extractor’s hose. After each use, I’ll thoroughly clean the extractor and hoses with soapy water. To avoid cross contamination, I’ll probably limit the SOWKIPE Fluid Extractor’s use with fluids that are less critical and keep using my turkey baster for extracting brake fluid. Or, for such a low price, I could just buy a second SOWKIPE Fluid Extractor.Overall, I found the SOWKIPE Fluid Extractor to be a useful and well-made product at a very reasonable price.
