Ordered this 90 degree cam and groove connector to drain my pool into the sewer clean out at my house. This 90 degree fitting made draining my pool into the clean out instead if the street gutter very easy. I needed to drain my pool so I decided to drain the water into the sewer clean out in the front of my house instead of out to the street to save water for recycling. This cam fitting attached the the two inch cam I had on the end of the hose, locked in place and stay in-place in the sewer clean out while I ran the pump.Overall, a very easy and efficient fitting.

These 90 degree camlock fittings are - for whatever reason - hard to find and typically ridiculously overpriced. That is despite the fact that they're the PERFECT fitting for the hundreds of top-out sprinkler pumps on the market. Anyways, this was a great find, and it works perfectly for my 1HP electric pump... no need for bulky fittings on the pump itself, which makes storing it away easier when not in use. Also, I can now easily prime the pump through the wider outlet instead of that ridiculously small priming hole.

Add 2 clamps to keep the hose from slipping off and leaking, and you are good to go. The plastic is light weight, but I don't think it will get abused too much in the field I'm using it.The price is more expensive than ones I purchased in the past, so it gets 4 stars.
