Type A Cam and Groove Fitting
This Type A camlock (Cam and Groove) fitting has a male camlock quick connect coupling on one side and female NPT threads on the other side. The male camlock side of this coupler will only attach to a female camlock. The female threaded side will connect to a male NPT (National Pipe Tapered) threaded pipe.
The body of this cam and groove fitting is made of aluminum. Aluminum cam lock fittings are lightweight and are corrosion and abrasion resistant. This fitting’s seal is made of NBR (Buna-N) rubber. Buna-N seals are resistant to fuel, oil, and other chemicals.

First I received the incorrect item.. accidents happen. Second time i received correct items as shown in picture. Used on my 3” trash pump now reduced to use 2” hoses. As described, quality seems good but have not used yet. Fit perfect.

I bought these to expand our inventory of camlock-fitted accessories. As manufactured, these did not fit our existing camlock receivers. I had to do some sanding on them with heavy grit and wire brush finishing. We took calipers to both this piece and one that came on a peripheral fitting with the tank and receiver. It seems the very end (not threaded end) is slightly longer than the original. This means the circular cam levers weren't able to even start rotating inward. I know there are TONS of manufacturers making tons of these that advertise the same size, but even a mm difference can mean fitting vs not. It may fit your receiver right out of the bag, but also be prepared to do a little work to make it fit your rig.
