Well made, suited to task, and accurately sized, but be careful with the word "stainless".These set screws are exactly what's on the packaging as far as their dimensions and hex driver size indicates. I've tested these in #6-32 brass thermal inserts and they fit perfectly. There's even a 1/16" hex driver allen key included if you need one, although I'd suggest upgrading to something more hand-friendly if you're going to be using a lot of these.There is some question regarding what quality of stainless steel is used with these set screws. One of the reasons stainless steel is stainless is because it has very little, if any, ferrous (iron) content. Iron rusts, so removing it to prevent rust stains also makes it non-magnetic. This material definitely contains some amount of iron, as demonstrated in the last photo using a neodymium disc magnet.

I needed set screws for additions I made to my car, but would pop up because I didn't want to hot glue them into place. I knew I needed set screws to finish the job and finally ordered these.Everyone I've used or looked at so far has had uniform threads with no burs and a good hex socket. Not much more you can ask for in a set screw! These look like they'll last as long, if not longer, than I will.

The threads on these were perfect! Wish they had a bigger "bulk" qty option available.I'm just using them as plugs on a baseplate for a CNC mill. So 20 didn't get me too far. Guess I'll have to get some more.I did notice on a few of them, they seemed to vary in length by up to .020" which may not be too big of a deal for most, but my baseplate is only .500" thick so I need every bit I can get. Nothing a grinder couldn't take care of though.

These 8-32 3/16” grub screws seem to be very well made. It’s great being able to get so many for such a low price. For the same price at the local hardware store I’d would get maybe 10 of these. Glad it came with the matching Allen wrench too I can keep it with them and always have one handy when needed. Would definitely buy from this seller again.

They're nice. They fit the threads, they come with a wrench & a box.If you wanted stainless, or nonferrous, and are concerned about corrosion, you might not be happy with these. They stick to the magnet pretty strong.

These 1/4-20 x 1/4" Stainless Set Screws manufactured by Juvielich (China) are as good quality as any I've used, and I've used a lot. They work perfectly in threaded Acetal Plastic (Delrin) and mild steel. My primary use is to secure 1/4" copper rod in sleeves of either 1/4" acetal plastic or mild steel, The cup ends are perfect for that purpose. And while the quality and consistency is excellent, they are a much greater value given that their competitors are more expensive - some twice as expensive! 5 stars

I do some hobby machining and building of small mechanisms. The setscrews are just right for my under 2 inch shaft work. They are clean looking and the threads fit nicely. I used this first set on a lazy susan base for a picnic table. They threaded into the tapped holes nicely and the allen wrench (supplied) fit the hex just fine. Since they are stainless , I believe rusting will not be a problem. The small box is handy to keep track and reduce spilling in use.

These set screws come in a small clear plastic container with 50-pieces of #10-24 x 3/8" set screws and an Allen wrench. I needed to make some custom table saw zero clearance inserts that are 1/2" thick and then level them. So, I am using these set screws in a pre-drilled hole and screw them from the top and adjust the distance out the bottom on each of the four corners to level the clearance insert. These do measure 3/8" so they are the perfect height that they recess into the insert just right. The included Allen wrench fits these set screws perfectly and allows easy adjustment of the set screw depth. I am pleased with the performance, value, and quality of these set screws.
