- The candle wick needs to be trimmed every hour, otherwise the candle will drip wax.
- Use the candle snuffer to dip candles.
- Place the candle on a flat surface to avoid wax dripping.
- Keep the candle away from the fan or open window, as the wind makes the candles smoke and drip.
- Stop burning when 1/2 inch of wax remains.

These candles do NOT burn for 7-8 hours as stated in the product description. 30 minutes after lighting, the candle was a quarter of the way down, and extremely drippy. You can see a comparison of the higher quality candles and these garbage candles in my photo. As you can see, we hadn’t even served the salad course and these candles were done for. All the candles I bought here were extinguished by the main course and a disastrous mess. Thank goodness for the higher quality candles I bought at Hobby Lobby. Don’t waste your money.

All the candles burned at different speeds but all completely burned within 1-3 hours. Some dripped EVERYWHERE and others only a little. They also came in a 1 gallon freezer bag and 1/4 of them were broken when they arrived. Horrible product but made for good conversation and laughter. lol

I recently went to this bar that had these tall, extremely drippy candles that I’m dying to recreate for my own place. I read through the (very unhappy) reviews that these candles drip EXTRA so I’m SO glad I found exactly what I needed. They all came perfectly intact - zero broken. I’m so excited to see how much they drip and may just have to order a bunch more!

You get what you pay for. These are the cheapest candles I found per piece and they make a crazy mess. But not all of them. Some of them drip and some don’t, with no clear difference between them otherwise. Not recommended. They also dont fit some candlesticks. I had to pad them with tissue to make them stay.

Last time I ordered candles online a couple of them came cracked and broken and they were so pricey. But these candles are cheaper and worth the price. They burn well and are pretty lengthy. I definitely recommend.

FALSE ADVERTISING! It drips so much I had to blow it out to prevent a mess. Its -38 celsius here today (without the windchill) with an Extreme Cold Weather Warning so I took out these candles to prepare since the grid will shut out intermittently this evening (throughout the province), but here we are with garbage candles. The ones from the dollar store are far superior compared to this nonsense. By the speed its burning it would burn through in 5 hours max, so that is also below their clam of 7-8 hour burn time. Shame on them for false advertising! I should have tried burning them sooner; the return window for my order has passed.

Candles did not burn at the same pace. Some dripped a lot. Would not recommend and don't understand how this product can continue to have more than 4 stars despite more reviews like mine.

Bought for church advent wreath thinking there would be enough for this year and next. They are sold as '9 - 10 hours burn' when it should say up to 2 hours burn. I watched anxiously on during this morning's service as the first candle went so low that I thought we would need the fire brigade!! By this rate of burn we will need 3 more purple ones for Christmas Day as all of the others will have burnt out with just one pink one left for Christmas Day. Not at all happy with the misrepresentation in the blurb
