Exceptional value for a good tool that will work great for the intended purpose. Arrived in great condition, all pats contained in package. Diagrams and images were great for reference in assembly. Minimal tools needed for assembly. Would recommend to those looking for a good value small/ short log lifting device.

There was a big blow three summers ago that really whipped through my neighborhood and did some pretty heavy tree damage all around. My neighbor had a 90’ foot Pine blow down that just missed the living room.On my property a large tree was topped and as it went down, it hit a snag, and its still up there. The wind also did a number on many smaller trees, those with a diameter of 10 inches or so.It was no surprise that getting a tree guy was really hard, given all the work that just landed in their laps. The demand for services was so high that the tree trimmers moved through the neiborhood cutting in sort of a triage way, cutting trees into relatively large sections that were moved back into the common "forever wild" area. That was in '21.So, come '24, I had a bunch of logs laying all willy-nilly just over my property line, and they looked like heck. I have pretty much all the tools one needs for tree felling, chain saws and other manly stuff, but I did not have an easy way to roll relatively long logs into an area out of the brush. When I saw this item, the Teodute 20" Log Tongs, I though they might be just the thing I needed to handle the job I was itching to do. I ordered it (them?), put it together, (actually I had my daughter read the instructions), and I went logging.Teodute claims a person can carry up to 150 lbs. with them, and you can. But I don't recommend you lift larger logs by yourself. I was surprised by how sturdy the claws were, and the fit and finish was fine. So, armed for bear, I rolled the offending logs using the Teodute, cut them into reasonable pieces, and then lifted and dropped the logs into the stack. All by myself. Alright, my daughter was there. To watch. If you’re like me, you probably have to do a lot of things by yourself. Finding tools that help the average DIYer work more easily and safely, is great, but saving a bundle of cash is even better. These things are what they are. They are well made, and they are very useful for the person who has to clean up unexpected mayhem. My Dad used to say, "there's' a way to do everything". He was right.

I’m getting older so schlepping logs, bending down to get them, getting them off the ground was an increasingly difficult chore. These calipers make that job a piece of cake by comparison, allowing me to remain upright and lift with my legs. Easy to assemble and robust

I bought this to make firewood length logs easier to pick up and move. It grips the log but flops around and falls out of claws unless it’s perfectly balanced in the middle of the log. It’s easier to just pick up the log than mess around with these grabbers … kind of defeats the purpose!

I was almost surprised that it actually works. Assembly is simple, and it does a great job of grasping logs without forcing you to bend over and lift them. I like it!
