A section of hose curved at a 90-degree angle is recommend between the machine and the vacuum bag. The curved hose will help deflect (knock down) foreign objects (nails, etc.) before entering bag. Current machines are often 23HP so direct attaching a bag to machine outlet in no longer recommended. No insulation vacuum bags on the market are HEPA rated and should not be used for the removal of asbestos insulation. This is a onetime use disposable product and not designed for long term storage. If you need to keep filled bags outside for multiple days, keep out of the sun or cover with tarp.
