We have an older style central vac and these fit perfectly. The filtering seems good but to be honest the air is discharged outside so I wouldn't notice it either way. The seems sturdy and hold up when removed.

The bag fits well into a Nutone central vacuum. the price is great for 9 packs. I just fit in so it may take several months to know how well it works.
