About this item

  • CERTIFIED & TRUSTED PERFORMANCE: In an industry saturated with unvalidated performance claims, you can rest assured knowing that AquaYouth has invested in third party testing and certification. The AquaYouth 2.0 shower filter is the only shower filter on the market that is NSF/ANSI 177 certified for the reduction of Free Available Chlorine and NSF/ANSI 372 certified for Low Lead Content Verification and confirmed the reduction of heavy metals by Korea Environment & Water Works Institute.
  • POWERFUL MULT-STAGE WATER FILTRATION: The AquaYouth 2.0 shower filter very effectively targets chlorine, heavy metals, rust, sand, and other sediments for superior water purification.
  • MAY IMPROVE HAIR & SKIN,: Unfiltered water can contain chlorine and other chemicals that are harsh on your skin and hair. These substances have been associated with excessive drying, which damages the skin and causes hair to lose its shine. Reductions of these contaminants results in softer hair and smoother skin.
  • SUPERIOR DESIGN: AquaYouth's modern, sleek, and durable design built to last and will improve the aesthetic of any shower. The design also makes for easy filter replacements.

4 Reasons Why The AquaYouth 2.0 Shower Filter Is The Best On The Market.

1. The AquaYouth 2.0 is the only shower filter on the market that is dual certified for both chlorine removal and heavy metals, NSF/ANSI 177 & 372. Many other shower filters make claims about their filtration rates, but they have no certifications, so how can those products be trusted?

2. The AquaYouth 2.0 is one of the very few shower filters on the market that is NOT made in China. It is possible to get quality products from China, but they have been known to cut many corners during production, which usually translates to lower quality products.

3. The AquaYouth 2.0 has tested to remove more contaminants than any other shower filter on the market. This shower filtration system tested for the reduction rate of Chlorine (99%) Iron (100%), Mercury(100%), Lead(63%), Copper(33%). This test was conducted by the Korea Environment and Water Works Institute.

4. Lastly, our customer support is world class. You can reach out to us anytime via our help center. We can be reached via live chat & email. Whether you have a specific question about the product, the installation setup, or simply want to say hello, our team is ready to assist you.

Here at AquaYouth, we believe in better skin, better hair, & better health, from better water.

Purchased this filter barring other reviews, I needed to replace another shower filter that needs to frequent replacing. I moved to a horrendous complex with water that is so chlorinated that it feels like I'm bathing in Clorox! Other shower filters have worked, but after a month or so they need replacement as I can smell the chlorine in the water. So, I decided to buy this filter system: at first, like many others, it leaked quite profusely, where the filter connects to the downspout as well as the plastic case. After fiddling with this on and off for few months, adding more tape to the downspout at the inlet into the filter, all leaking has ceased.Definitely effective in removing chlorine, no chlorine smell. The shower head is one I purchased from Amazon, and because of using filters, no clogging. I actually use the showehead to bathe as I like to sit and relax while cleaning myself. I'm confident that the water is safe to bathe.I took one star off as I tried to contact the seller but never received a response, mostly over the issues of leaking, which I finally resolved. I also use the showehead to spray down the tub, using the shower filter. Water does accumulate in the plastic housing, so I usually unscrew and empty the water. No other major problems, installing was easy. Do, for now, I'm quite satisfied.Update;Just replaced filter as I could smell chlorine while bathing. Just received the new filter, let water run for two minutes as the water is dark with carbon from the filter. Will say that no more chlorine smell. About water softness, that's debatable. All I'm concerned about is chlorine, which is a toxic cancer causing chemical, and for now it has been eliminated.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but this shower head filter cured my dandruff/dermatitis! For so long I didn’t know if I had dandruff or dermatitis (still don’t) but I tried everything - both dermatitis and dandruff name brand shampoos, high-end ones, oiling my hair, taking fish oil supplements, cheaper shower head filter brands, even went to a dermatologist and tried medicated shampoo they prescribed and…….nothing.It is so disheartening wanting to feel and look your best - do your makeup, get dressed, and feel genuinely beautiful - only to have your confidence shattered by large scaling flakes all over your scalp and hair (especially with dark hair. It’s so noticeable). As I mentioned, I’ve tried everything. I was beginning to give up and accept that this is just my life. However, I reflected on the fact that the flakes seemed to worsen depending on the different cities I had moved. This made me think it could be environmental somehow. I did some more research and discovered that hard water can contribute to dandruff. Enough so that I’d have nonstop huge flakes for years though? Seemed unlikely. But, as a last ditch effort I figured I’d splurge and try this shower head filter. Admittedly, far more expensive than I wanted to spend, but I’d pay hundreds even thousands of dollars if it meant I wouldn’t have to deal with this anymore. I figured if it didn’t work, at least it’d be “good” for my hair and skin in at least non visible ways and I would simply not buy replacement filters if that was the case.I WAS WRONG. Within weeks my flakes started disappearing! However, it is important to note that they still returned slightly (very small compared to my previous huge flakes) if I use “normal” shampoo instead of combining it with store bought dandruff shampoo. So, for others struggling with this, it may still be helpful to keep those shampoos and use in conjunction with the shower head filter. But using both has completely eliminated my flakes! I couldn’t believe it!I will also admit, I wanted to push the limit of the shower head filter’s lifespan. Replacement filters are not super expensive but hey everything in this day and age adds up. The recommended replacement online is 3-4 months I believe. I’ve been able to push it to 5 but that’s the max I’m willing to do since flakes slowly start creeping back up at that point. As far as installation, it’s a breeze! My boyfriend had previously installed the cheaper shower head filters that are shaped like a pod and HATED replacing the filters. He actually gave up altogether because the threading to unscrew the pods would get so stuck (presumably from hard water buildup?) that he couldn’t even open them anymore leading us to wastefully buy the entire new pod altogether instead of just filter replacements. Not with this! He said installation was far easier and replacement of the filters is as well.If you don’t suffer from hard water and the consequences of it (dry skin, dermatitis, dandruff, etc.) then this shower head filter may be a bit pricey for you in which case, you would probably do fine with the cheaper pod filters you find on Amazon. But again, expect difficulty and waste with the install and replacement process. However, if you can afford to spend a little more and are suffering from skin or scalp issues, then this shower head filter is WORTH IT! I hope this helps someone else that may be experiencing what I felt. And I hope you feel so much more confident and beautiful in your own skin. ❤️

Great shower filter, but beware the price gouging from third party sellers and consider buying from the website directly. I didn't realize until it was already too late for me to return it.

Installation video also available (at the time of writing this) Water feels great! Depending if you use a shower head with a hose you may need an extra washer so that the water doesn't leak. I tried 2 different ones and one hose was good with 1 and another needed 2.

This filter was super easy to install if one is the least bit mechanically inclined. It took me a couple minutes to remove my shower head, install the filter body, flush It, and reattach my shower head. This filter did drop my shower head about 3" which affected me a little bit. I do have to bend down a touch when I am washing my hair. For some people, that might be a big deal, but I do not mind for the perceived benefit. My water is from a municipal source. My water has a bit of iron and lime scale in it. I will be able to tell if if it is keeping some of that stuff out of my shower water. I did shower with this once. The water did have a softer feel than normal, and my shower literally did feel more refreshing than normal. I do not have a chlorine tester or other fancy water testing device, and I can only go by how things feel. However, I will be able to check for iron staining after using it for awhile as the filter claims to reduce iron.I also read a lot of reviews from people who have well water that installed this filter and complained about having no filter life. I am guessing they need a pretty large whole house filter to block a lot of impurities in their water.Edit: I did buy a water testing kit. I tested for a few things. Anyway, this filter did remove chlorine. I also want to state that I did test warm shower temperature water as I know that some filters cannot filter out chemicals in warm or hot water.Edit 2: I used my filter for about 7 months. I live alone and typically shower about twice a day. I decided to swap out my filter before it "went bad". It still seemed like it was filtering chlorine, but I did not want to chance it. Obviously, someone with worse water quality might have a shorter filter life. I also installed a new shower head when I installed this filter. I went with a 1.5 gpm model to help slow the water down a touch and to help improve filtering. My shower head never gummed up, since I installed this, with lime scale which is a first for me as my area has ridiculously hard water. Also, there have been no iron stains in my shower since I installed this. Yes, it does pull that stuff out of the water.Edit 3: I am still happy with this system and have used it for s few years without problems. I alleviated my shower height issue by installing a goose neck shower pipe which raised my showerhead several inches. I wish I would have done that years ago.Lastly, I have seen people complaining the filter does not remove any chlorine from their water. You might want to check if your water system uses chloramjnes before getting mad because this filter alone won't remove chloramines.
