I bought these for my husband for Christmas. They are heavy duty cast iron, put a perfect sear on steak and will work great for fajitas. I like the removable handles as the old set I used to have was a real pain to get out of a hot oven. Highly recommend.

The size is perfect for the restaurant to make a sizzling dish,but after every use, the iron plate has alot of "brown spots"(maybe it's rusting) we tried putting cooking oils, using chemical to clean, no matter what we tried, those spots won't go away after every was. And the wood base feels very sofe.

The skillet is very nice and as advertised. The only weakness is the relatively short handle.

Wood base is very small and barely extends out of iron plate whereas pictures are showing a bigger wood base.
