They were just the thing I was looking for and worked out perfectly but you have to be careful out not overly tightening it because it might snap it hasn’t happened to me yet but I try to be careful other than that they work fine.

These are very well made. They are meant for securing a piece of mesh screen to the top of your aquarium. It’s hard to see from their photos, but there is a base platform, with a screw to tighten so it fits securely on the glass of your tank. Then there is a second square piece of plastic with another screw that sits very securely on top of the base platform. From the picture, and even in person, it looks like the two pieces do not come apart, but they do. The bottom platform piece has 4 little raised bumps that you lay your screen over. Then replace the top piece and screw it down. Very amazing. Very tight hold. You will need more than two pieces. I ordered 6 so I can make room for HOB filter and houseplant holders.
