We have seasonal bears. They like to knock over the food waste cans, rummage, and then leave things for ME to clean up.Our service charges extra for "bear proof" cans, weekly.These are a 1 time purchase and work well enough to keep the lids tight and let the bears move on to someone else's cans.Some of the solutions require drilling into the cans. These are just adjustable straps, so, to me, that is better.

Purchased this product due to the high winds and wild life knocking my trash cans over making the biggest mess. It’s a hassle having to find the bins knocked over and having to pick the mess back up. Found these restraints, they are adjustable so if you have different size bins you’d be able to adjust to preferred size. Also, the restraints are very sturdy when secured it’s also a piece of cake taking them off when needed. I recommend investing into this product saves you the headache.

Got this just as a “just in case” for raccoons and what not. It was easy to install, easy to lock/unlock. Good peace of mind. Just make sure to unlock them when it’s time for the truck!

This are sturdy and easy to use. They withstand the varied weather conditions we have - wind storms, dust storms, rain storms, etc. BEST of all, they work. No more messes in the morning because racoons, cayotes, javelinas or bears got into the trash. Very satisfied.
