I like the ease of installation and the functionality of this garbage can lock top. The hardware appears to be durable enough and works well enough to stop unwanted critters from getting into the can. We will see how well it works with bears… It was a good fit to get the job done.

Keeps the bandits out of my cans so far. I am sure some day they will figure out how to open them, but for now they have not figured it out. Easy to install and works perfectly.

I got this mostly to keep my lids from flying away as they are fairly light. These work really well for that and for keeping animals out. It comes with some sturdy bolts and nuts for attachment that look well made. There is one bolt per side and you simply drill a hold through the plastic bins. There are no lock washers and its not clear to me if these are rust resistant over time but the initial quality and adjustability are quite good.
