The male and female threads had some blemishes but nothing serious. These are made of steel, so they should be very strong. I like that there are cuts to get a pair of players for these fittings. The rubber washers fit snugly. It would be nice if these also came with a small strip of plumber's tape. Overall, these are decent fittings.
