Easy to use and clean. It is exactly what I need to test gasoline

This works fine and give a very accurate indication of the ethanol level but it take quite a but of fuel which is then discarded. (It is possible to pour off the "ethanol free" fuel and return it to the fuel jug, but its a little sketchy to add water to fuel, then use it!) I'm looking at other products that might to the same "go/go no" test without wasting so much fuel. I'm not doing laboratory science!

This item was something that I wanted to try, ever since the tags, identifying the gas type went missing on my gas cans.I tried it out and found that it was indeed easy to do. The containers were also easy to clean and the caps fit tightly, which makes shaking the contents mess free. PET should be impervious to it being exposed to gas and the gas additives.I do suggest that you let the mixed contents sit still for more than the recommended 5 minutes, as there seems to be other ingredients in the gas that may also separate out as another smaller layer between the gas on top and the water on the bottom.Note: I used distilled water so I would get the clearest results possible, though other water that is not as clean could get you by in a pinch.

I bought to test the ethanol content in the gas I've been buying. Most gas contains up to 10% ethanol and when I tested the gas it was right at the 10% mark.I also tested some ethanol free gas and it tested no ethanol. Good kit to have.

I chose this kit as it used smaller amount of gas than many. I've been able to determine how much "non-ethanol" gas I need to pump first to clear the line at a station that uses a single delivery hose for delivery. Not that I appreciate paying $1 a gallon over premium 10% ethanol gas. It take 2 gallons get to what I'm buying. The bottles have a more graduated scale than many others too. I would have preferred glass over plastic for a longer reuse life. Ethanol gas is the worst thing ever for gas that is going to be left in small engines including generators. This kit was a small price to pay to protect my farm, motorcycle and vehicles that are stored more than driven.

I don’t like at all, I bought to use test fuel test, I didn’t expect to be that thin ( small size ). To be honest no one need two bottles, instead of selling two, better to be one bottle and bigger size is better .

I use this when engineering wants to ask me if the fuel is contaminated . They are the result and don’t argue with it:)Works great.
