Unfortunately this is a disappointment... I wanted to have a mat for my turntable a nice, "natural" one, so my choice was cork. There is one thing I did not know: these cork mats have tiny cork particles on the surface, and of course that goes into the grove of the vinyl... I am not sure why it is like this, but I just don't want to struggle with it...

I have a turntable case with a plain plastic topper. These cork designs add a noticeable and cool style to an otherwise boring LP player. Have received multiple compliments on these.

I've never had slip mats on the record player that I like to watch without a record on the turntable. These are seriously hypnotic. I have two turntables and was happy to replace the slip mats on each with these. They're so cool to watch spin. They're practical when a record is over top of them too. While you can't enjoy the hypnotic effects while listening to a record, it does keep the record steady and smooth. I would very much suggest these and am considering getting a backup set or a set to make an art piece with out of old turntables, if I can figure out how to make them into spinning wall art.
