Got a 26gal. Kobalt (Lowes) compressor& needed to replace the OEM Kobalt muffler/air filters about 12 to 16mths.After I bought it about 2-1/2yrs. ago...Got some really cheap filters from Amazon that did work but didn't last.Aluminum housing was thin & not good air flow. These "new" filters fit better (threads are better) the Aluminum housing seems a tad bit thicker & there are 3 air intake holes per canister ! So the compressor is NOT starving for clean air now. So now let's hope the last awhile ? We will see ?

Use on my 20 gal. Husky quiet compressor, the filter it came with had one hole with a tube, pretty quiet. This has 3 holes, made my compressor louder. BUT it seems to fill a little bit faster after timing it, but not significant. I'd rather have it quiet than faster. Came with extra filters. I am 50/50 satisfied with product.

Comes with 2 extra spare filters and its more durable than the plastic unit my small air compressor came with. Helped muffle sound a bit.

Great product at good prices. However for the 2nd time, I received 3/4"NPT pieces instead of 1/2"NPT as ordered. A couple reducers would be nice.
