The armrests arrived well-protected by layers of plastic bags. This is one set of two armrests. When opened, there was no noticeable odor. I removed the old pads and installed the new ones in under 15 minutes. The armrests came with fresh bolts, but I used the old ones because I knew they’d fit the holes in the walker lengthwise. This set does not have a hex key included, which you will need for the bolts. These forearm cushions feel like medical grade quality. They're a thick, firm type of foam that seems to be made for the long term use and abuse they'll be subject to on mobility devices. They actually have clean threads for the mounting bolts too, because they tightened up quick and smooth. Not everything I get from China is so easy, I usually have issues with one or two screws that are stripped or worse, so it's something I can appreciate. I am using these for an alternative forearm support purpose, which involves my metal bar abdominal machine. I needed a way to get a lower body arc when I'm using it and after marking the measurements, I drilled holes in the frame and then attached these with them. The cushions worked perfectly and get my stance extra low, it feels aerodynamic and reminiscent of a racing bike handlebar. I recommend them. Thank you.
