Definitely keeps the water out as described. Easy enough to work with and worked like a charm re-sealing the roof of my travel trailer. Took about a day to dry fully and was good to go.We get a fair amount of rain where we store it and there's been no leaks thus far. That's good enough for me to recommend it.

It's nice to be able to order a quality RV roof caulking product. This "self-leveling", sealing caulk is "industrial" strength and handles the restoration of my older RV "membrane" roof top with professional results. The caulk flows into even the thinnest cracks and seals them permanently. It bonds to the old material and also to aluminum without cracking. Easy clean-up and also works to seal larger cracks too.

When the snow started melting, I noticed water seeping down the inside of my wall—right where a room addition meets the original house. The area had some tricky angles, and I suspected the flashing wasn’t done properly when the roof was redone. I climbed onto the roof and applied this caulk along the edges of the asphalt shingles where they meet the house. Despite the 45-degree temperature, the caulk flowed smoothly into the cracks. After a couple of days of rain, I’m happy to report that the wall remains dry.I plan to use the rest of the tube to seal the drain hole in my boat and fix a leaking gutter. I’ve completely switched from silicone to polyurethane caulk—it’s a bit messier (wear gloves!), but it adheres well and never peels. This stuff really works!

As an RV owner, I recently tried a two-pack of Berkland RV roof sealant, and I must say, it's been a game-changer. The self-leveling formula made application a breeze, even with my less-than-perfect DIY skills. It flowed smoothly and created a tight, waterproof seal. After a heavy rain, not a single leak! The 10.3 oz tubes are just the right size, and having two in the pack is like having a backup plan for those "just in case" moments. Plus, it's UV-resistant, so I know it's going to last. This sealant has earned a permanent spot in my RV maintenance kit. If you want peace of mind on the road, this is the sealant for you. Highly recommended!

I think everyone here knows that lap seal for RV's is liquid rubber. And while this very well may solve a problem for you there's a few things that this particular brand is not letting us know. And some of them are very important. One is the shelf date. I Looked all over the tubes and there's no date code whatsoever. So we don't know how long this has been sitting around nor how long does it last. There is no website associated with this product where you could find out exactly what this products chemical compound is. So if there's no website and there's no chemical list then there's also no safety data sheet. Now this product like I said may very well do the job but there are other brands that do have websites, and do list the chemical makeup of their product and do offer a safety data sheet and also have a date stamp so there's a shelf life.Be Safe, Work Smart.Cheers

I wanted to text this before using it on my actual rv (it’s also really cold out right now). The first picture shows after applying and the second after sitting an hour (indoor warm environment). I like how it leveled and helps cover up my poor caulking skills. It seems to be easier to apply than most caulks and the area I’m applying it will not be seen anyway.I’ll update the review if it doesn’t perform as expected but it seems like a quality product. Shown in the picture is a little rubber cover to keep it from drying out which I’ve never seen before. I’m also glad this is an American made product as this stuff is toxic and is rather know it came from a company that has to follow US standards.

What a disappointment! The package comes with two bottles of lap seal with attached nozzles, two pairs of plastic gloves, and two adorable condoms that you roll over the nozzle to seal any partially used bottles. I found the last two items a nice touch. Only problem? It doesn't work! The sealant is very thick, like a caulk, and it never self-levels. You can see that in my photo. I even tried the other bottle and had the same results. Both went into the trash.

I recently had the opportunity to try out a two-pack roof sealant, and I'm thoroughly impressed with its performance. As an RV owner, I know how crucial it is to maintain a watertight roof, and this sealant has given me real peace of mind. The self-leveling formula made application incredibly easy, even on slightly uneven surfaces. It flowed smoothly and evenly, creating a tight, waterproof seal. I tested it on a few areas around vents and seams, and it adhered perfectly to the existing EPDM roofing material. The fact that it's UV-resistant is also a huge plus, as it means the sealant will hold up well against the harsh sun and prevent cracking or deterioration over time.Beyond the ease of application, I was particularly impressed with the sealant's strong adhesion and waterproof properties. After a recent heavy rain, I checked the areas where I'd applied the sealant, and there were no signs of leaks or water intrusion. This product truly lives up to its claims of being waterproof and providing a reliable seal. The 10.3 oz tubes are a convenient size for tackling various repair jobs, and having two in the pack is a great value. Getting to test this RV roof sealant for free was a fantastic opportunity, and I'm confident it will be an essential part of my RV maintenance routine from now on. I highly recommend it to any RV owner looking for a reliable and effective roof sealant.
