Item is confortable, using them at the of the day and early morning before getting up does make a big difference, it reduces the pain of plantar fasciitis. Unfortunately the velcro stopped working just a couple of months after use. I would have given 5 stars, if it was not for the straps.

Love the padded top and three adjustable straps. After almost a year of constant foot/shin pain, I finally got out of bed and could walk easily! I'm so happy I made this purchase.Tips for use:Position the foot part first, snug but not too tight, at the ball of the foot. Then snug up the middle strap that holds your foot at the angle you want.Fasten the two upper straps, first the ankle then the upper, after you've done the lower. Tighten or loosen center strap if adjustments are needed at this point.Use the two side straps to secure under the toes for best support.(Took me a while to figure out how to position this, so I hope that helps somebody.)

I've tried a few night splits for plantar fasciitis. The purpose of a split for plantar fasciitis is to keep your foot from pointing down (pointing your toes) so the plantar fascia can stay stretched and heal. I tried positioning this splint several ways and adjusted the straps extensively, but I could still point my toes. I will say that I couldn't point them as much as without the splint, but it still allows movement. I would say this splint is easy enough to use, but it doesn't do what is advertised. Additionally, if you have a large calf, the top strap won't stay put. It went around my calf just fine, but it slid down as I tightened the toe straps. I gave it two stars because it was well built, but it isn't going to work for plantar fasciitis.

I recently received my two-pack. I did not notice any odor as others have mentioned. Are they difficult to put on? Probably, but it gets easier and easier after a couple of nights. I have a splint that I got from my doctor and it's very difficult to get on too. Just the nature of the product. I have very small feet (5 1/2 on one foot and 6 on the other). My toes fell out of the top of the splint during the night and I thought I was going to have to return them. But I did a better job of putting them on, and made sure my toes were snuggly in the toe portion (top) of the splint before I fastened the back strap. That worked. They stayed on all night jsut fine. I think they're good and I would buy them again, in fact. I bought another pair for NY since I pend a lot of time there.

I have been suffering with pain in my feet and Achilles for years. Years of wearing high heels have made wearing flats and sneakers uncomfortable. I noticed that I also sleep with my feet pointed so I stumbled across these supports and from the first night there was such a big difference. I could walk without limping when I got up and doing Achilles stretches have been much easier. The splints are easy to fit and take off/remove. They are comfortable and I can still walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night if I have to pee. I was going to order the more expensive harder splint if these didn’t work but I don’t need to. These are cheap and work well. They kind of look ridiculous, but who is watching you sleep, right? Give them a try!

I developed plantar fasciitis recently as I increased running mileage too quick. I bought this to provide night support as there is only so much I could do to get relief. This is extremely comfortable. I have noticed only slight relief from pain. My calves are rather large so if I dont get this really tight on my calf then the velcro will rub the skin. I also have to get this tight on my forefoot to be able to keep my foot from pointing, which negates the braces functionality. I will usually wake up in the middle of the night and remove it because of the calf and forefoot pressure. I will again reiterate, this is super comfortable and has provided some relief, but the best bet is always "RICE" Rest-Ice-Compression-Elevation.

This product is TERRIBLE!! If I could give it ZERO stars, I would have. I had plantar fasciitis before and the product I got from the doctor's office had a hard plastic base to keep your foot stable. Velcro straps kept my leg and foot in place. This product is all soft. To adjust this product to the proper angle and to keep your foot in place, you need to pull the straps as hard as you can and tighten them on the FRONT of your foot up to your shin. So picture your foot at a 90 degree angle. It wants to relax and move forward. Soft velcro straps must be pulled upward (toward your shin) to keep your foot at that 90 degree angle. There is NO way a soft strap can do that. You can pull those straps and velcro them to each other, but as soon as you relax your foot, it moves forward, stretching the straps. You can NEVER get them as tight as necessary to heal your foot. Do yourself a favor and call your doctor or look for another type of product. You'll save yourself a ton of aggravation.
