I do think this supports my plantar issues but the heel does not have any added protection. It is just fabric...I thought it might have had a bit of gel pad or something. I should have done better reading the description.

This will help when your ankles are sore/tender from exercising or just need a little extra support. I wear these supports when my ankles are tender from playing to much tennis (more than 2-3 days in a row). I place them over my socks and they gives good support and comfort when wearing them. After 2-3 months will need to replace them as they do tend to wear through the heel portion.

I wear these along with my TELIC sandals all day, every day. They're the only things that have enabled me to walk while dealing with a severe case of plantar fasciitis. The quality seems good(didn't stretch out due to use), and they provide decent compression. I have very small feet and bought a size Small—while I could have used more compression, there was no X-Small available, and I’m not sure if that would have been too tight. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.

I have tried so many different versions of these and I cannot say enough about the difference that this brand makes! I injured my ankle and Achilles and these have been so incredibly therapeutic and restorative for both my ankle and Achilles. As long as I am wearing these I am without pain and my ankle is repairing itself on its own. I am not even taking pain relievers anymore and the more I wear them the less pain I have while sleeping though I take them off while sleeping. I downsized for more compression which has been helpful and it does not cut off any circulation or anything like that. It provides a perfect amount of compression, it eases swelling and slightly limits mobility which ultimately protects your injury. These are truly phenomenal! And for such a great price!

I have plantar fasciitis, and this was my first experience ordering any kind of compression socks. I give these 5 stars as they are high quality, fairly priced, very comfortable and did bring me some relief.... unfortunately I unknowingly ordered a size too large, and I think they would have helped me much better in a smaller size, so be wary of the size chart.I wear a ladies 8.5 wide or regular size 9. Going by the size chart I ordered a Large. At first it was great, but then soon realized I needed a bit more compression and a Medium would most likely work better. I tried to shrink them in the dryer, but they stayed true to size (which is a good thing, depending on how you look at it).My advice would be to omit the "wide" portion of the size chart and just order within your regular shoe size. You do want them to be a bit snug in order to be more compressive which helps keep the pain and swelling down/offer a bit more support.

I would give 10 stars if I could.Major flare up of Plantars Fasciitis for the last 2 months.Frozen water bottles, higher arch shoes, tennis balls, ice, heat, rest..you know the drill.Today, ZERO PAIN. These little babies work. I have worn them every day (only on right foot..so I alternate while one is drying from hand washing) and I sleep in it.If I didn't sleep in it I would not be able to walk in the morning. Now, I can actually get out of bed with cringing and limping.Yes!!!They are super comfortable. Not too Right. Very breathable and not hot at all.I have worn them with my Skechers and with my Croc sandals. I don't care that you can see them. Pain relief is priority. The other day I wore with the Croc sandals all day long walking around St Augustine on pavement and sidewalks. I am going to say this..my foot was tired but I did not hurt. Did NOT hurt.I bought another brand at the same time as these..I like These SO much better.A bit like a very heavy nylon stocking and about the same as a pair of tights as far as fabric goes. The compression truly feels wonderful and relaxed. It is also helping with not having to limp and giving into the pain. My knee and hip were starting to hurt from having to do that.I LOVE THEM. And there is nothing to love about having to wear them..but I am loving being able to walk pain free and feeling the healing happening.

I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for months. I’ve got over $1,000 invested in inserts, a sleeping boot, special shoes etc. I ran an 8k on Saturday and had to use crutches on Sunday it was so bad. Someone told me about this sock. I ordered it and it arrived today. I ripped open the package and threw on the sock.Within two minutes the pain in my foot disappeared. I mean it was GONE!!! My family was amazed that I wasn’t hobbling around like a 90 year old woman with a cane. They were all thrilled that I was happy. All evening I wore a smile on my face!I’mWondering is it safe to wear this thing all day and all night??? It feels so good and I fear as soon as I take it off the throbbing, stabbing pain will return.I’ve only had it for a few hours and the relief it’s already given me is more that all the other things I’ve bought combined. If you have foot pain, it’s worth a shot! Buy it! Buy it!

I wear a US 9 women's shoe. I ordered the Large, and it fits properly and works. Because it's so tight, it can get annoying, so I take it off after a few hours. It has helped my pain a lot. I plan to continue wearing it on and off a few hours a day, whenever I think of it or feel like doing it, day or night, walking or at rest. It's durable and washes up well. It fits easily under a sock. I have no complaints at all, but can't vouch for how well it works or lasts over time because I've only had it a short while. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. FYI, if I had bought the Medium, it would have been so tight I wouldn't have been able to pull it on or have been able to stand it. And FYI, wearing it to bed in the winter, it makes my toes cold, so I wear a bed sock over it.
