I was looking for a plate holder to replace the dealer-installed ones, which advertised the dealership.These plate holders look good when attached to the rear of my Subaru Forester. The mount points don't obscure any of my state's stickers, state name, or plate numbers, which is my state's legal guidelines for plate visibility.For the front I ran into an issue with the existing plate mount only having two screws, positioned at the top. The dealer-installed holder has a frame that the plate slides into securely. On this plate cover, without screws going through the bottom of the holder and the plate, and with a slight curve to the front end of the vehicle, and with no clip or piece of the holder keeping the plate and protector joined together, the bottom half of the assembly was open and separated. I wasn't comfortable leaving it like that so I kept the prior dealer's holder for the front.An additional issue I ran into was the included screw sizes. The Amazon listing gives the size so I'm not knocking a star for that, just a lesson learned for the reader to check what you need. Using a thread gauge, I can see the included screws are 6mmx1.0. My Subaru uses 5mmx0.8, so I had to use my existing screws. The existing screws worked fine with this plate holder and its assembly, but as with the front I only had two screws for the top of the holder. The Subaru's rear plate area has four screw holes available, but I wasn't able to affix the bottom two holes with the included screws. Fortunately the rear plate area is flat (unlike the front), so it works fine and looks good. When I am able to procure some 5mmx0.8 screws I'll complete the rear mounting.So this plate set will be best for those that can mount all four screws in both front and rear, and either need 6mmx1.0 screws or have existing screws for all mount points.

I like the fact these are simple, thin plain black bezel. They look great on my black carA variety of mounting hardware is provided - so every mounting application should be covered.Good value for money.Would recommend.

This set of license plate frames and clear covers have added a touch of polish and style to my license plates that I didn’t know they needed!The quality is good overall, although I’d prefer metal to plastic for the frames. The plastic seems sturdy and durable, however.The fit is ok but a bit on the smaller side. My plates fit a bit snug. All installation hardware is included, although all the pieces seem like overkill. I will say that the screw covers are a nice touch. At least I can rest assured that my plate will remain pristine and securely in place!

So my car came with a dealer frame that was cluttered with 9 car companies on it. I just wanted a plain plate so you see the new car, not the stuff on the frame.These covers look great. I did have to pull up the listing on my phone to figure out the order in which to use the screws/nuts/clear plate/frame/pads - can't say I loved that. Paper with 1 picture would have been way better.The screws went into the plate holder without a hitch. It's rained a few times and no condensation builds (admittedly it's not muggy around here). I'm really happy with these.

The cover doesn't fit plate, only the frame does. Which the cover was the whole point in buying.

I just wanted to protect my license plates, but these look really good and added that little finished look to the car rather than having just a plate without a frame. They seem well made and sturdy. I do recommend them.
