The plastic shield fit perfectly but had to get different screws. Once that was accomplished the kit looks great. Quite happy with the purchase.

I’m using the plastic cover, only. I like it. I noticed that when I tightened the screws, to secure the plastic license plate cover and license plate, that the cover did not break, as others have, that I purchased from Amazon.com. I like the material of this license plate cover, it seems to be of higher quality than the Average Bear; time will tell. I was surprised to receive only one license plate cover, I thought I was going to get two; the price, therefore, seems a bit expensive, but, maybe, with the price comes quality. Time will tell.

Turned out great. I put the cover together and put it on the car with no problem. All the mounting hardware was there and fit together nicely. I’d had it on a couple weeks when I had to remove it and take it apart to put my license renewal sticker on and everything came apart just fine. I put the sticker on the plate and put it back on. It’s been through the car wash several times it has held up well.

Is this made for American plates? The silicone cover and the clear casing seem like they weren’t made for each other. I actually had to trim the edges of my license plate with scissors to get it to fit within the silicone sleeve, and the clear case just sits awkwardly on top of it all. The silicone case isn’t deep enough to wrap around the clear cover, which means dirt and rain is going to accumulate on the plate regardless. I’ll have to try again with another brand—this one is useless.

I'm half and half on this. The clear plastic cover is pretty strong, and I can vouch for that. I know because I unfortunately hit a deer with it, while driving 40-50mph. The cover was cracked, certainly, but it didn't fall apart or have missing pieces. So that in itself... it's tough. *Good job* I do have a vanity plate that sticks out and the clear 'bubble' cover fits it just fine, and everything is clear & easy to see, no 'tint' color either. The license plate fits snuggly into the black rubber case nicely as well, so *good job* there as well.So, what's my discomfort with this? The literal nuts & bolts of this combo pack is rather cheapy material, and kinda a 'hit or miss' with quality control efforts. But my biggest issue with this is...with the weather in question, this product is a deep disappointment. I have water spots and fog, 'INSIDE' of my cover protector :-P. Rain or Snow, this cover doesn't keep out the elements for nothing, which was the BIGGEST reason why I got this product to begin with. The clear plastic cover doesn't really cover things real well. It sits on top of the black rubber case, or you can manage to get a part of the case into just the lower half or some corner parts only. It sits on top, not around, over, and beyond the edges of the black rubber case.They gave me 'half' the features...I gave them 'half' the stars. I hope you can understand this, and thank you for listening.*Update*The seller did eventually contact me and I will have to give them high praise for customer service and trying to help figure things out. In the end tho, I'm still left with this to say..."It's a decent license plate set, but [the] product design does not meet the expectations & requirements that I need for my situation." This simply is NOT weatherproof.
