It’s nice when you purchase an item that is cost effective and it performs as advertised . Sometimes it’s a surprise as you’re not expecting the quality and performance of the purchased item. This vendor’s light adapter fulfills all of the above. Aside from being as described and being both cost and installation efficient, the product was as described and delivered quickly. I would recommend using this vendor and product.

Went for price, the pull chain is a little "stiff", but overall for what I needed it works OK, if you need one that you use often I would go with a better product.

I tried replacing the broken chain on our ceiling fan ourself, but it pulls too hard on the fan. The fan is really old. Because this just fits in the light socket, it doesn't pull so hard on the fan. Works great, and we can plug stuff into the outlet if we wanted as well! Very cheap option!

Broke chain on old ceiling fixture in closet. Thought I’d have to replace whole unit. But this just screwed into it and saved me ALOT of money. Works perfectly

I climbed up to install one of these and didn't work. Tried the second one, didn't work. The fixture worked as the bulb lit before and after I tried these adaptors. Sat down at my desk to see what could be the issue... pulled the chains on them and something didn't feel right. Like the chain had a short pull and didn't make the click sound like they should. I put on my glasses to inspect and happen to notice, a clear plastic ring on the chain (see 1st pic). Thought it was an essential part/maybe a safety tab, dunno. Took tweezers to it and it came right off (2nd pic). Pulled the chain and now it felt as if it had the full motion to be functional. Climbed back up, screwed it in and by the power of Apollo, there was light. I tried the plugs, and both sides work as my growlights power up. Im going to guess the other one will work too, I was done climbing for the night. Maybe another day for that one. I'd give it a Value for the money. I would have given 5 stars, but was not happy about 20 minutes wasted and climbing up and down; as well as there should be instructions about this clip, attached to the packaging or listed in the spec/description.SO... before you think they are broke/garbage, etc... remove these clear plastic tabs and give it a try. Save yourself half the time it took me.OH, the chain seems to pull the smoothest, when it is straight down. NOT out or up.

Yes we had ours for over 40 yrs and didn’t think that when they went out that we could find replacements this easy and cheap and they definitely were a real steal and work great

But it does the job as long as the chain will succeed to pull with efforts. This should have cost $3 no more.
