Like the sound of these midrange speakers. But..... after turning up the music from room listening levels , the tones are so sharp they hurt my ears. And I want to turn up the music a lot more. But can't. To the manufactures of these speakers..... can you keep the sound of these speakers while decreasing the sharpness of it tones. Stero is not turned up to half volume. disconnected my phono preamp and the sharpness went away. Your speakers sound nice now. Will try a different manufacture of phono preamp. I can turn up my stero now.

My 20 year old Pioneer speakers were completely shot. Refurbished with Goldwood tweeters, mid-range & woofers has brought them back to life. Best $150.00 I ever spent! I love them... neighbors, too.

Have them mounted in my 80's house speaker boxes. Hopefully they will line up with the holes in your speaker box. Have not blown them yet.

I have installed 3 pair of these in 3 sets of project speakers . They sound even better after a few hours of break in .
