After buying three of the cheap Cuisinart electric grinders, this one is way better. I could never get a good consistent somewhat course grind. This small 1Zpresso QAir is a very nice travel sized grinder. Perfect for a single cup of coffee. I am very happy with this purchase. I would probably buy another.

This is for the Q Air: I own a number of 'serious' manual and automatic grinders and the Q Air produces results just as good as larger and pricier enthusiast coffee grinders. I'm sure there are smaller or lighter grinders out there but the Q Air is probably as compact as manual grinders get without serious compromises in performance, ergonomics, or quality.

Great little grinder that fits right in your Aeropress plunger. . .the price is right and so are the grinds. . .nothing to lose!

My husband is very picky about his coffee and likes to grind his own beans so his Christmas present this year was a no brainer. He always researches any purchases regardless of his paying for them or me and this coffee grinder was top of his list. He loves how easy it is to use and that it’s easily adjustable to get the perfect grind. It’s also easy to clean and is small enough not to take up too much room in our cupboard with all our other coffee stuff. We’d definitely recommend it.

Not sure why this product is getting such great reviews. It does not come with instructions. The instructions on-line are not helpful. The coffee sticks to the the cup and the product does not come with a brush.

Fantastic grinder at nearly half the price as the Q. The internals and lid/handle are exactly the same, so there really isn’t a difference in terms of grind quality. The plastic has a sandblasted texture and the flattened ridges offer good grip that feels nice in hand. Also love the colors. The entire grinder disassembles for cleaning. Would be great for travel due to its weight and size, it fits inside the Aeropress plunger! As far as performance, the new heptagonal burr grinds pretty fast for its size, a 15g dose of a medium roast coffee takes a little under 30 seconds for me. Makes good filter coffee. I have tried both Aeropress and the clever dripper. Cups have decent body, well balanced, enjoyable to drink.I would argue this is the best budget hand grinder on the market. Great work 1Zpresso. This would be awesome as a gift, as a first grinder, or for travel if you need something small, light, and preferably inexpensive.

I agree with the other comment that the lack of a brush and instruction manual is annoying. Having said that I’m really pleased with the grinder itself. I’ve brewed some pretty great tasting cups of filter coffee with the grinder. The compact size is nice, but it still accommodates 20g of beans. It is easy enough to use once you locate the online instructions. I can imagine this would be a great grinder for traveling with your aeropress, but I’m leaving this one at my parent’s house so I can make some decent pour over coffee while I’m visiting them.

I didn't want to spend a ton of money but I'll be going away for work and staying in an extended stay motel. I don't want to use hotel coffee/coffee maker. So, I got this and an aeropress. I still haven't perfected the grind size and time yet, but it is drinkable. It also stacks in my aeropress.Grind is consistent every time. Doesn't take long to grind. The downside is (possibly) that you really only fit between 14 and 16 grams of coffee in it. That's fine for me though.

Even with some RDT, there is static retention. You'll need to lightly knock the underside of the grinder and the catch cup. It is great as a travel grinder OR your very first grinder. My first grinder was the Porlex Mini. This blows the Mini out of the water.I have the 1zpresso X Pro and love it. This is my travel grinder and I happily accept the retention. If you measure .1 gram over your amount you'll be ok.
