Very pleased with this rack tray. Fit it into my studio rack. Compared to the disappointment of the other reviewer, I actually appreciate the separate parts so that I can assemble it the way I want to for my purpose. The steel is solid, color is an even-Black, I appreciate the vent holes to allow the 2 small amplifiers that will be placed on it to breathe, the machining is extremely precise (no problem putting screws in the holes in the rack) and there are no sharp edges to cut you. Will definitely buy again (especially at this price.)

I like that it can be installed either direction to have a lip or not depending on what will be placed there. Solid construction.

This is a great shelf. Assembly is two total screws, one each side. Very sturdy and solid piece of metal. Not flimsy at all and does what I need it to do, holds my cable modem and small switch. Looks great and really can't tell it's in the rack. Really like the 1U design too. Shipped and received in one day, awesome.

most rack shelves already come in one piece. this you have to do a bit of assembly. so that's why it's cheaper. but it did fit my needs. I needed something with a back plate on it so stuff doesn't slide out the back if I pushed to far in and this is exactly what I needed.

Ive bought this rack shelf twice now, gets the job done. Good value and build quality, its home lab sized shelf good to fit a few small appliances.
